NDPiD is a non-profit organisation bringing the crucial issues affecting the peoples of the Niger Delta that needs to be addressed to the fore. These issues range from the continued dangerous occurrences of pollution from oil spills threatening the very existence of the region's Ecosystem, increasing poverty to social and economic exclusion and rising mortality rate among the population. NDPiD aims to achieve this through focused engagement with community leaders, companies and organisations doing business in the region, and the Nigerian Government and partnering NGOs at all levels from national to global... NDPiD seeks to promote a reality where sustainable development options are available to the poor and excluded people and others marginalised in the productive economy of the Niger Delta region of the Nigerian State.
