Nupur Dance School is an exciting dance school based on the Indian Classical form of Bharatanatyam. It was founded with a unique vision to create Indian cultural awareness among Indian American youth... Workshops at Nupur offers a glimpse at various styles of dance like Contemporary, Fusion, Semi classical, Bollywood etc... Nupur Center for Performing Arts (NCPA) was founded by Mrs. Rupa who has a Masters degree in classical dance from University of Bombay. She started the center in 1988 in Mumbai, India, with a vision to expose the richness of Indian culture and heritage through the medium of dance. She continued her passion with the same zeal after migrating to USA in 2002 and is helping in enriching our next generation of Indo American students learn this divine art and understand the deep rooted culture behind it.
