I have helped people improve their performance at work for almost 30 years through the design, development, and implementation of custom training and performance support initiatives... In 2018, I realized that my success as a leader was closely tied to my ability to effectively coach my team. After years of writing courses and developing tools to help other leaders effectively coach their teams, I decided to get my coaching certification... As a leader, I constantly looked for ways to adjust my leadership style to the wide variety of individuals on my team. My natural curiosity about human behavior and diversity led me to seek a certification in Brain-based Leadership, which uses techniques from psychology and neuroscience to help teams work through innovation, change, giving and receiving feedback and inclusiveness in ways that take into consideration the way our brains work and the natural barriers that exist when we are in "fight or flight" mode.
