PIONEER ALLIANCE

PIONEER is a unique Alliance dedicated to Future Cities. PIONEER brings together 5 European universities and 35 associated partners and will benefit to more than 70000 students, 8000 staff and European ecosystems stakeholders from 18 cities. The joint strategy and operational plan will transform the Alliance into a sustainable organisation with a European governance board. PIONEER aims to be the orchestrator of the knowledge quadruple helix model linking education, research, innovation and service to society. This multidisciplinary challenge-based, holistic and open model enables students and professionals to learn, co-create, experiment, validate services and solutions, share best practices, whilst fostering entrepreneurship to enhance European competitiveness.
