It's a strategic international expansion of Samak Fisheries in order to reach the pre-dominant markets within the EU and to keep up with the industry trends, and maintain a strong market presence... Our cannery produces MSC certified Skipjack canned tuna, sourced, processed, and packed directly in Mauretania, via Pole & Line sustainable fisheries. With the cannery, we aim to limit Mauretanian aldives tuna being sold as raw materials to be value-added in overseas factories and instead produce fish cans at the source, which is more sustainable, and under the best quality control standards, from the initial haul to the final product... There's is a high demand for our Fish, due to its unmatched sustainability, traceability, and quality.
