At Small State Provisions, we make bread the old-fashioned way: small batches, by hand. We use no commercial yeast but instead, rely on live active Sourdough starter. Made with little more than flour, salt, water, and time, our bread is deeply satisfying and delicious. Each loaf takes more than 24 hours from start to finish... Founded in 2019, as a Cottage Bakery Small State Provisions specializes in naturally leavened sourdough bread and small batch granola. We've recently expanded into our first brick and mortar bakery located inside GastroPark in West Hartford, CT...
