Established in 1938, Southampton Yacht Club is positioned on a tributary off Shinnecock Bay, with an incredible and pristine view of the undeveloped shore of the Shinnecock Reservation... Membership dues collected that year (which along with a loan from unspecified sources paid for the construction of the first club-house) amounted to about $30 annually per person...
