Sunflower School was born of the desire to provide the best opportunities for homeschooled kids to experience social outings and interaction with peers. The seeds were planted on Facebook with a post of "are there any local homeschool groups for four-year-olds?". Since then, Sunflower School has grown into a community for homeschool parents and children. Sunflower School was founded by parents who wanted an opportunity for their children to socialize and learn outside a traditional classroom... Families founded sunflower School in the community. The curriculum teaches academic concepts with a focus on social and emotional development. Families are the core of the school. Parents guide children throughout the class. At home, parents help with fun and easy lessons. Courses are designed and taught by parents with their children by their side.
