Amber joined Absolute Storage Management in 2018 as the Vice President of Human Resources and part of the Absolute executive team. Amber's passion is around people operations, leadership, and organizational strategy and as the VP of HR Amber was focused on growing and developing the team and cultivating Absolute's We Care culture. Her people and operational leadership skills were recognized and in May of 2022 Amber shifted into the Chief Operating Officer role taking on the operations team while continuing to oversee the human resources and training teams. Prior to joining Absolute, Amber worked within the Professional Employment Organization (PEO) arena where she was an Account Executive and provided business strategy and HR consultation to businesses of all sizes and industries across the US, including self-storage. Amber loves sharing her leadership tips, brining teams together through culture and is now focused on leading the operational growth at Absolute! Amber lives in Florida with her husband and together they have three amazing kids and two very spoiled boxers!

Grace Totty is the Vice President of Marketing and Sales with Absolute Storage Management (Absolute), responsible for leading the marketing team and vendors to maximize function and performance for Absolute's managed properties.
Grace has over ten years of storage experience starting in operations, working closely with Absolute's founders. She is a frequent speaker at national trade shows and state shows and enjoys connecting with individuals in the storage industry. Grace currently sits on the TNSSA board, is a member of the Senior Leadership team at Absolute and is an active member of the Young Leader's Group and the SSA's Women's Counsel. Grace holds a degree in Business Management from The University of Memphis.

Prior to forming Absolute, Matt accumulated five years of experience in the self storage industry and has held a variety of positions, enabling him to amass extensive knowledge of the industry. Starting off as an assistant property manager with a national self storage company, Matt rapidly advanced into management, holding a district manager position for two years, where he supervised 15 self storage properties. Serving as a financial analyst for the next year, he was able to hone his analytical skills before moving on to a highly visible position as Manager of Contact Center Operations, where he supervised a staff of 30. Matt holds a BS in management from Southern Illinois University and an MBA from the University of Memphis. He is currently pursuing the CCIM designation. Matt is primarily responsible for property management, marketing, and operations.

Michael Haugh is the co-founder of Absolute Storage Management and current Investment Officer of Absolute Storage Investment (ASI) and has been in the storage industry since 1993. Michael's primary responsibilities include leading ASM's acquisition and development activities. Under Michael's direction, Absolute has developed and acquired over $200MM in properties across ten states.
Prior to forming Absolute in 2002, Michael was a senior executive with Storage USA, the second-largest storage REIT at that time. Michael began his self-storage career at Storage USA working as a college intern at the property level. After graduating college, he spent three years as a property manager and district manager, learning the business from the ground up. Thereafter, Michael took on a variety of responsibilities to complement his operations experience, including working with the company's CFO on joint ventures and equity financing, as well as working with Storage USA's CEO, investing in new development projects, and acquiring existing properties.
Michael holds a BA in Economics from the University of Connecticut, an MBA from the University of Memphis, and holds the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and Certified Property Manager (CPM) designations.

Scott Beatty is the CEO of Absolute Storage Management (ASM) and has over 25 years of self-storage industry experience. Scott has spent the past 20 years working alongside Michael Haugh and Matt Bailey and an incredible team to grow Absolute to over 140 locations in 20 states.
Prior to joining Absolute in 2003, Scott spent eight years in financial operations and forecasting/budgeting, including four years as a financial executive at Storage USA. His experience includes the development of single-year property budgets along with long-range strategic and financial plans for large scale companies. During his self-storage career with Storage USA, Scott oversaw and managed the annual budgeting and forecasting responsibilities for over 400 properties, along with the creation, generation, and analysis of monthly property financial reports.
Scott holds a BS in finance from the University of Maryland and an MBA from Johns Hopkins University. Scott is actively involved with the University of Memphis Fogelman College of Business as a mentor in its Memphis Institute for Leadership Education (MILE) program which annually pairs up business executives with elite undergraduates for mentoring and leadership opportunities. Scott is also an active member of Vistage since 2019, an international CEO coaching and peer advisory organization.

Shane is based out of northern Mississippi where he lives with his wife and two children. He holds a degree in Marketing and Business Management and a bachelor's in Human Resource Management. After college, Shane managed an Edible Arrangements for some years and brought it to being ranked number one in the country for holiday sales before switching careers to storage. Starting as an assistant manager for Absolute in 2014, Shane's ambition to grow within the company has not wavered once.
Shane fills his spare time with restoring his Chevy Nova, planning new business ventures, and gardening. Shane has a never-ending list of hobbies including brewing wine, soap making, camping, raising rabbits, and archery, and an even longer list of experiences ranging from being in marching band to boy scouts to traveling the country to owning a bar. He has lived a very fulfilling life, leaving just one item left on his bucket list, to skydive.

Susan joined the Absolute team in May of 2019. She is a graduate of Purdue University with a B.S. in Management. She continued her education at the University of Memphis in Accounting and then passed the CPA exam. Susan's professional career began with Exxon Company U.S.A. as an auditor. After seven years she took a hiatus to raise two wonderful children with her husband, David. Upon returning to the workforce, Susan joined a Memphis CPA firm. After two years of public accounting, Susan spent the next eleven years with an Agricultural Loan company.
Susan loves ringing in her church's handbell choir, her book club and doing Ken-Ken puzzles. Her favorite place to vacation is northern Michigan.
