Bailee Tarbell

Bailee is TEAM's receptionist and administrative assistant, responsible for office management, client communication, and general bookkeeping. She is the lead for contract management, preparation of invoices, accounts payable and receivable, as well as general administrative and human resource tasks. Bailee also assists with equipment management, restocking, and supporting the team. Bailee joined TEAM in 2020 and has been instrumental to the company's continued operations in a safe and compliant manner during the pandemic shutdown. Prior to TEAM, Bailee worked for Dean's Plumbing in Bishop, where she was valued as a friendly customer service specialist handling a wide variety of service requests and customer accounts. Although not originally from Bishop, Bailee spent summer vacations in Mammoth and always dreamed of living here. Outside of the office, Bailee enjoys time spent with her family, trying out new recipes, and ice skating in the backcountry.

Greg Foote

Job Titles:
  • Biologist / Senior Environmental Scientist
Greg has served in many roles in his 17 years with TEAM. He is currently TEAM's lead Biologist, Senior Environmental Scientist, Hydrographer and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) expert. He is also the lead on several complex, on-going projects, and manages mitigation and monitoring plans to ensure protection of sensitive and protected botanical, wildlife, and water resources. Greg's experience includes conducting and coordinating biological resource assessments to comply with CEQA requirements; and following agency and species monitoring protocols to ensure sensitive biological resources are managed and protected in compliance with environmental regulations. Greg has assisted a variety of clients with their groundwater, soil, and gas monitoring programs as well as installation, operations, and maintenance of groundwater remediation systems. He has participated in subsurface investigations and aquifer tests under a Professional Geologist and contributed to the design and installation of surface water monitoring devices. In addition to his field expertise, Greg has worked on numerous GIS projects and managed several Microsoft Access multi-relational databases. Prior to joining TEAM, Greg worked with the California Department of Fish & Game on projects related to Wildlife and Fisheries Biology. Greg graduated from Bishop Union High School and earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Nevada, Reno with a major in Biology (Ecology). After college he returned home to the Owens Valley, married, and is raising children here. He enjoys hiking, backpacking, camping and fishing with his family in the Eastern Sierra region.

Mary Farrell

  • Senior Archaeologist
Since 2016, Mary Farrell has served as TEAM's Senior Archaeologist, responsible for helping clients meet local, state, and federal requirements for cultural resources consideration and management. Before joining TEAM, Mary worked with the U.S. Forest Service in California and Arizona, where she was responsible for archaeological surveys, National Register determinations of eligibility and nominations, historic preservation projects, and integrating cultural resource information into NEPA documents. She participated in and led interdisciplinary teams for environmental analysis and planning, and developed and implemented preservation, restoration, and rehabilitation plans for historic properties. Mary also facilitated the Forest Service's Tribal consultation, and developed partnerships with volunteers, Tribal members, and Mexico's Instituto Nacional de Antropología e Historia and the Universidad de Sonora to conduct public archaeology and historic preservation projects, and to explore traditional perspectives on land use and stewardship. Between the Forest Service and joining TEAM, Mary worked as an independent cultural resources consultant for various clients, including the University of California Santa Barbara, Caltech, the Timbisha Tribe, the Big Pine Paiute Tribe of Owens Valley, the Coronado National Forest, the Japanese Cultural Center of Hawai'i, and Bauer Planning & Environmental Services, Inc. She taught four seasons of an archaeological field methods class for the University of Hawai'i, and has published numerous articles and book chapters about the power of archaeology to connect us with our shared past and illuminate the present. Mary graduated with a degree in anthropology from the University of Virginia and earned a Master of Arts in anthropology from the University of Arizona

Naomi Jensen - CEO, President

Naomi is TEAM's President and CEO, responsible for business operations, financial management, and key communications with regulatory agencies, government entities, and project stakeholders. Naomi also serves as the Managing Director, overseeing employees, subcontractors, and other resources to effectively serve a wide range of clients. Naomi joined TEAM in 1999 as an Environmental Scientist after earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara. In 2015, after 16 years with the firm, Naomi took over the helm, providing a seamless transition of business ownership, and enabling TEAM to continue to serve its clients with the highest level of professional and responsive service. For over 20 years, Naomi has been conducting field work and interfacing with local, state, and federal agencies related to permitting and regulatory compliance. She has worked with a wide range of clients on their groundwater, soil, and gas monitoring programs, as well as the installation, operations, and maintenance of groundwater remediation systems. Naomi has participated in or managed surface water and groundwater studies involving the compilation of surface water data, research of water uses and water rights, monitoring of surface and groundwater levels, and technical report preparation. Naomi's expertise includes all aspects of project permitting and implementation, ranging from CEQA Initial Studies to Final Reclamation Plans. She has successfully assisted clients with compliance with a variety of environmental permitting requirements, including Waste Discharge Requirements and Conditional Use Permits issued by the Regional Water Quality Control Board, Inyo and Mono Counties, California Department of Fish and Wildlife, and the Inyo National Forest. Prior to joining TEAM, Naomi worked with the Santa Barbara Flood Control District to manage vegetation and maintain riparian areas. A graduate of Bishop Union High School, Naomi returned to the Owens Valley after college, and is raising her two children here. Her family enjoys skiing, hiking, and anything outdoors in the beautiful Eastern Sierra region.

Richard Shore

  • Professional Geologist / Chief Operating Officer - Geologic Services
Richard serves as TEAM's Professional Geologist and Chief Operating Officer for Geologic Services. He is responsible for the geologic field operations and reporting for groundwater monitoring sites throughout the Owens Valley. Richard's broad experience includes conducting Phase I and II site assessments and investigations, hazardous materials remediation, underground storage tank removal and monitoring, and interfacing with local, state, and federal agencies related to permitting and regulatory compliance. Richard has particular expertise in assisting clients with groundwater monitoring well installations, groundwater, soil and soil-gas sampling and monitoring programs, as well as the installation, operations and maintenance of various groundwater and soil-gas remediation systems. Richard joined TEAM in 2017 as a Staff Geologist and earned his California Professional Geologist License in 2020. Prior to TEAM, Richard worked as a Field Geologist with AECOM, responsible for the implementation of a groundwater monitoring program and the operation and maintenance of soil-vapor remediation treatment system at an oil refinery site in Bakersfield, California. Prior to AECOM, Richard worked as an Engineering Geologist at Gold Coast Geoservices Inc. in Ventura, California, where he was responsible for the drafting of geologic maps and cross-sections, performing slope stability analysis using computer software, designing retaining walls and septic systems, and percolation and compaction testing. Richard's projects have spanned a wide range including retail gas stations, oil refineries, EPA Superfund sites, landfills, and background studies in remote wilderness areas. Richard earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a major in Geology with an emphasis on Engineering and Hydrology. After college he worked throughout the state of California with seasonal employment in Alaska, but eventually settled down in the Owens Valley. Richard is an enthusiastic rock climber and mountaineer and can be found exploring the high peaks and deep canyons of the Eastern Sierra during his time off.
