Dr.Roland Amoussou Guenou

Dr. Roland Amoussou-Guenou, a French national originally from Benin (West Africa) is a Partner at Vovan & Associes and lecturer at various institutes and universities in Thailand and Southeast Asia. He is a member (on leave) of the Paris Bar Association and former Senior Legal Adviser of the International Development Law Organization (IDLO) in Rome, Italy. Dr. Amoussou served as Adjunct faculty and legal advisor at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) in Thailand. Roland Amoussou has more than 20 years of professional experience globally, as international law expert, senior legal adviser, adviser to governments and international organizations. Roland specializes in International arbitration and ADR/ODR, Intellectual property law, Public private partnerships (PPPs), International Contracts, Mergers and acquisitions, Construction law, Energy law, Telecommunication law, Banking law, Cybercrime law, Crypto currency emerging regulations, Personal Data Protection Law (PDPA, in Thailand) and legal coaching for CEOs and managers. He acts as resource person for professional training programs on various leadership and management related topics. He has trained hundreds of senior government officers of Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, India, Pakistan, Vietnam, and Thailand over the years. Dr.Roland is an arbitrator of the ICC, member the Arbitration Commission of ICC Thailand, Arbitrator of the Thai Arbitration Center (THAC), operates as President of an international arbitration tribunal (UNCITRAL) and representative of the Centre for Alternative Dispute Resolution (CiADR) in Thailand. Dr. Amoussou is co-founder and president of AsiAfrica foundation (since 2009) and Award-winner for his contribution in promoting education, culture, ADR/ODR and international Arbitration in Asia. Roland Amoussou is also a recognized figure for his engagement in bridging business opportunities between Asia and Africa. He serves from time to time as acting ambassador representing the Ambassador of Benin to China and Non-resident in Thailand.

Frederic Favre was admitted in Lyon as Tax and Legal Counsel in 1989 and then as a Lawyer with tax certification on the Paris Bar in 1993. Further to 5 years of initial practice in France (1983-1988), Mr. Favre was a foreign practitioner in Tokyo (1989-1993) and then in Hanoi (1994-1997). Since 1998, Frederic Favre is VOVAN & ASSOCIES Partner for Asia. From the Bangkok office Mr. Favre developed a network of independent law firms. From 2003, he also anchored in Thailand, TROCADELYO, a cross border business advisory group of companies. In 2005 Frederic Favre became the co-founder of and vice president of the Franco-Thai solidarity Committee and in 2009 of the AsiAfrica Foundation. Mr Favre was also vice-president of the Franco-Thai Chamber of Commerce, then the president of the French Foreign Trade Advisers Thailand chapter and the treasurer of the 1st Thai European Business Council. Currently he is Board member of the ICC Thailand chapter, an active member of the THAC mediation center and of the Thai Institute of Directors. Mr. Favre taught European Law in Seoul, he is the author of and contributor of several academic articles, conference presentations, about Japan, Thailand the GMS and ASEAN. He graduated from law school in Lyon and from the ISG MBA program in New York and Tokyo. In 2005, Frederic Favre was honored by the French Government to the title of "Chevalier de l'Ordre National du Mérite".

Anne-Lise LEO REGNIER is a French qualified notary specialized in international family law, succession and cross-border transactions. She joined VOVAN & Associates in Bangkok in 2016. Head of Family law and Notary department, she advises private clients on cross-border matrimonial issues and estate planning. Prior to joining VOVAN she has been practicing in France during 6 years. She holds two masters degree from the University of Lyon III and Paris II - Pantheon Assas and the French Notary certificate. With her global vision of Family law, she regularly works with family lawyers and notary in France and South East Asia. Anne-Lise collaborates closely with the French Embassy & different association.
