Our mission is to create super-legumes to provide sustainable source of healthy, nutritious plant proteins. We plan to do this by creating new super-legumes that will reduce carbon emission by more than 50%. Our products are non-GMO and consumer friendly... Viridian Seeds aims to generate improved varieties of super-legumes which will transition agriculture and food production to a more sustainable future, while accelerating the dietary transition to plant based diets... We combine our skills in genetics, genomics, computational biology and environmental footprinting to develop legumes and other crops that are non-GMO to benefit farmers, consumers and the planet. Our allele discovery platform allows us to rapidly identify alleles and allele combinations for traits that will ensure food and nutritional security in the face of climate change.
