We take ownership of our jobs and consider ourselves representatives of Access Community Care. We are accountable for our actions and we accept the consequences of our actions. When we are in the field, we are in charge. We model responsibility to our customers. We are resourceful in finding solutions. Each one of us is a self-manager... We work with people in the Portland, OR metro and surrounding areas who have disabilities. We assist them in achieving self-sufficiency and control of the supports and resources available to them, and help them achieve their goals... We show compassion in everything that we do. We build relationships and rapport with our customers. We care about them, we relate to them and we take the time to learn who they are and to understand their world. We make them feel that they are important and show them, by our actions, that they are heard and seen as a person.
