Aero Services, Inc. was founded by Mike Metcalf in the fall of 1979 at the now non-existent, Strawberry Glenn Airport in Boise Idaho. The private Strawberry Glenn Airport was sold the following year to a property development company and it was developed into what is now known as Riverside Village. After the closure of the Strawberry Glenn Airport, Aero Services, Inc. relocated to the Weiser Municipal Airport in Weiser, Idaho and remained there for six years. In the winter of 1986 Aero Services, Inc. began construction of their present facility in Nampa, Idaho and relocated to the Nampa Municipal Airport in the spring of 1987. That move has proven to be very beneficial to both Aero Services, Inc. and the flying community within the Boise area and the entire Treasure Valley...
