Dr. Acelyn Colella

Dr. Acelyn Colella is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire and Tufts University Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine, where she was awarded a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. She extended her training with a postgraduate internship in small animal medicine and surgery and was part of a team of emergency, specialty and general-practice veterinary physicians. Growing up in Lowell, Dr. Colella's family pets were patients of Wignall Animal Hospital, therefore her veterinary career has brought her full-circle back to Wignall. Her special medical interests are emergency and preventive care, and in her free time, she enjoys being with family, friends and pets, as well as baking and going to the beach. Dr. Colella is the proud mom to one human and three fur babies.

Dr. Allison Detelich

Education: University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine Dr. Allison Detelich is a graduate of George Washington University in Washington D.C., where she received a B.S. in biology. With experience as a veterinary technician before attending veterinary school, Dr. Detelich has a broad range of veterinary knowledge. She was awarded her Veterinary Medical Doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Detelich is the proud owner of an English bulldog named Ella. As a general practitioner, she has strong interests in giant and brachycephalic breeds and companion animal surgery.

Dr. Alyssa Cramb

Education: University of Glasgow School of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery Dr. Alyssa Cramb earned her undergraduate degree in animal and veterinary science from the University of Maine, Orono, and her degree in veterinary medicine from the University of Glasgow School of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery in Scotland. She is a member of the Royal Academy of Veterinary Surgeons and the American Veterinary Medicine Association. A New Hampshire native, Dr. Cramb is happy to be back in New England after living abroad for five years, and is excited to become part of the Wignall and Belvedere team! As a general practitioner, she has an interest in preventative medicine and rehabilitative care. Outside of the hospital, she enjoys traveling to new places, exploring the outdoors, reading, horseback riding and spending time with her family, friends and felines.

Dr. Heather Cringan

Education: University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine Dr. Heather Cringan graduated from Cornell University as a biology major and went on to attend veterinary school in Minnesota. She completed an internship in small animal medicine at Tufts before working as an emergency veterinarian for several years. Then, a work opportunity took Dr. Cringan and her family overseas to Rwanda. While they loved their time abroad, they just could not stay away from the Northeast. Upon returning, Dr. Cringan happily joined Wignall and Belvidere Animal Hospitals. As a general practitioner, her interests include preventative care and pain management. When she is not at the hospital, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, hiking, traveling, cooking, and hanging out with her beloved cat.

Dr. Kate Thomas

Education: Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine Dr. Kate Thomas has been with Wignall Animal Hospital since she graduated from VMRCVM in 2006. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, American Animal Hospital Association, Massachusetts Veterinary Medical Association and has been certified in Fear Free training. As a general practitioner, Dr. Thomas has special interests in surgery and behavioral medicine. She is the proud mum of two border collies and one mixed-breed dog, as well as a blue-tongued skink.

Dr. Leigh DeMarco

Dr. Leigh DeMarco is a 1996 graduate of Connecticut's Trinity College, where she received a B.S. in biology. After completing her undergraduate studies at Trinity, and working after college as a veterinary technician, Dr. DeMarco was admitted to Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine. After four years of veterinary studies, she was awarded her D.V.M. in 2002.As a general small-animal practitioner, Dr. DeMarco has strong interests in surgery and preventive medicine. During her leisure time, Dr. DeMarco enjoys traveling with her husband and children (especially to her home state of Texas!), participating in sports, and spending time with her dog Biscuit.

Dr. Victoria Harvey

Education: Tufts University Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine Dr. Victoria Harvey is a graduate of Boston University and Tufts University Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine, where she was awarded a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. Originally from Lowell, Dr. Harvey started as a Veterinary Technician at Wignall Animal Hospital and was eager to return to the practice as a veterinarian. As a general practitioner she has a special interest in small animal surgery and behavior. In her spare time, Dr. Harvey enjoys kayaking and hiking with her dog, Orion.
