Civin is based in Boston and was founded in 2020. Originally launched as a consultancy, we later started developing our own data tools for local government as well. Our team has experience working at every level of government, from small towns to international organizations, and we combine those backgrounds with deep expertise in data science, software engineering, and product management... Civin was founded in 2020 by the former Chief Data Officers of Boston and San Diego... Founded by the City of Boston's former Chief Data Officer, Civin's mission is to make data and analytics accessible for communities of all sizes.
