Griffin Sale

Prior to joining District Capital, Griffin worked at Huntington National Bank. At HNB, he performed credit analysis for existing and potential tenants, worked on loan underwritings including renewals, extensions, and new money deals. He had assisted the portfolios of CRE and Community Development covering Michigan, Illinois, and Ohio. Griffin graduated from the Rubel School of Business - Bellarmine University, with a bachelor's degree in Finance.

Justin Hollis - Managing Director

Justin started his career at a commercial mortgage banking firm in 2007. With over a decade of experience, he has worked on financing transactions of every size and complexity. He has called upon his extensive knowledge and long-standing lending relationships to deliver consistent and well-executed results for his clients. It is his personal mission to become an engaged team member for his client to ensure a smooth transaction. Justin is a learned man. He received his BBA from Grand Valley State University and a masters in finance from Walsh College. Justin also holds a Michigan Real Estate Broker License. When not in the office, Justin spends his free time picking up toys at home while his three boys break something new. Justin loves sports. He has been self-nominated as the most athletic person in the office.

Kevin Kovachevich

Kevin started his career as a credit analyst with JP Morgan and quickly realized he wasn't built to be a banker. After a quick cup of coffee with JPM, Kevin moved into the real estate world as an analyst and quickly moved into the role of a mortgage banker. As a mortgage banker, Kevin rose to become the top producer within the firm. During his time as a mortgage banker, Kevin financed every type of cash flowing real estate ranging from an outdoor water park in the Midwest (not kidding!) to industrial parks, retail malls, office towers, apartment complexes and everything in between. Over his last 18 years, Kevin has financed, acquired, managed and serviced well over $10 billion dollars of transactions.

Michael Lemon - Managing Director

Michael Lemon is a Director with District Capital responsible for underwriting, originating and closing a variety of commercial transactions. Prior to joining District Capital, Michael worked at Q10 Capital | Lutz Financial Services. At Q10 Capital, Michael arranged commercial real estate financing for all asset types and found a niche in assisting developers with construction and bridge financing. Michael graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelor's degree, majoring in finance and minoring in economics. Michael also graduated from Georgetown University with a master's degree in real estate and is a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI). Michael lives in Royal Oak with his wife, Kate and french bulldog Lucy. When he is not at the office modeling new deals you can typically find him on the golf course or his adult "beer" league hockey games.

Sue Posuniak

After a career as a para-educator in the educational field, Sue has reinvented herself as an administrative assistant. Those years in the classroom has helped her easily transition into the office environment where her role changes moment by moment. Sue's main responsibility is to ensure the day to day operations of the Dcap Detroit office: answer and direct calls, organize and schedule appointments, process and distribute mail, event planning, and her all-time favorite IT. Sue also provides administrative support to her fun-loving team, which may even include "Subering" KK around the city. When not at her happy place, Sue loves to spend time with her family and or friends doing anything outdoors. You can catch her in the sand playing volleyball, watching a soccer game or trying to get a decent shot off on the golf course. She also works out with a trainer, so she can indulge her love of food and drinks.
