Alexandra Comey

Alexandra (Ally) Comey grew up in Longmeadow, Massachusetts. As a child, Ally would spend her summers with her family and grandparents in Charleston. Having grown up coming to Charleston, Ally easily made the decision that the College of Charleston was where she wanted to attend college. She graduated in May of 2017 with a BA in Spanish and a double minor in Business Administration and Latin American and Caribbean Studies. Post-graduation and because she loved Charleston so much, Ally decided to remain in Charleston and joined our firm as a Legal Assistant. When she is not working, Ally enjoys traveling and exploring new places, as well as sampling all types of new foods. She also enjoys reading and spending time with her two large, boy dogs.

Caitlin Clancy

Caitlin was born in Guatemala City, but was raised in Cary, North Carolina. She is a graduate of the College of Charleston, where she majored in history with a minor in political science. At the College, she was a member of the History Club and the Political Science Club. Caitlin was also an active member of the Women's and Gender Studies Club. After her graduation from the College of Charleston, she attended the Citadel for graduate coursework in Sports Management before deciding to dedicate her time fully to the Rosen Law Firm. Caitlin is a legal assistant and valuable member of the trial team. She develops case information and evidence, as well as providing organizational support and keeping clients informed of their cases. Caitlin works tirelessly and compassionately to help achieve the best results for the firm's clients. When she is not working, Caitlin enjoys watching basketball (Carolina Tar Heels of course), running, music, and traveling.

Claudia A. Rushton

Claudia A. Rushton is a native Charlestonian and has been with the firm since 1992. She graduated from Trident Technical College in 1982 with an Associate Degree in Business. Claudia was awarded the ALS designation by the National Association for Legal Professionals after passing the certification examination in 1999. She is a member of the Charleston Association of Legal Assistants. Claudia is a paralegal working primarily in domestic and family law. Claudia has a thorough knowledge of the problems that people face when going through a divorce or other domestic problem. She has worked closely with Robert Rosen for 17 years and is dedicated to solving our clients' problems and to helping them through this difficult time.

David A. Haselden

David Haselden is an associate focusing on litigation involving personal injury, wrongful death, negligence, insurance claims, business disputes, unfair trade practices, family law, and other civil matters. David began his legal career as a law clerk to the Honorable James C. Williams (now retired), Resident Judge in the First Judicial Circuit. He then accepted a position as an Assistant Public Defender in the Charleston County Public Defender's Office. While at the Public Defender's office, David represented numerous defendants charged with criminal offenses in both the Court of General Sessions and the Family Court. He is licensed to practice law in South Carolina, and is a member of the South Carolina Bar and the Charleston County Bar Association. David was raised in Clover, South Carolina. He attended Clover High School and Clemson University on a football scholarship where he majored in Speech and Communications. He graduated from the Charleston School of Law in 2007. David and his wife Amanda, who is also an attorney, live in Charleston with their two dogs.

Kyla Burridge

Kyla Burridge was born in Panama City, but moved to Charleston as a young girl with her family. She is currently a junior at the College of Charleston studying political science. She has been a part-time receptionist at the firm since August 2017. While not working for Rosen Law Firm, Kyla loves to spend time with her three younger brothers, read books, and explore new cities. Upon graduation from the College of Charleston, Kyla plans to pursue a career in law and hopes to work for the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU).

Linda A. Scheer

Linda A. Scheer joined the firm when she moved from Maryland to Charleston in 2006. She was formerly the Office Manager at the Jewish Primary Day School in Washington, D.C. Linda has over twenty years of experience in bookkeeping and office management. She moved to Charleston with her husband, an active member of the U.S. military, and her two children. Linda is the firm's Office Manager and Accounts Manager. Linda is always ready and willing to help our clients with any questions or issues involving their accounts. She is professional and compassionate in her approach to the management of the office and the service to our clients.

Stephenie Driver

Stephenie Driver was born in Jackson, Tennessee on January 20, 1972. She attended the University of Memphis from 1990 to 1992 and graduated from State Technical Institute with an Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies. She has been a member of the following organizations: Birmingham Legal Secretaries Association, 2003-2004; National Association of Legal Assistants, 2003-2004; American Trial Lawyers Association, 2000-2001; Memphis Paralegal Association, 1995-2001; and International Who's Who of Business Professionals, 1999-2000. She was also the Vice President of the Memphis Paralegal Association from 1996-1997. Stephenie's primary work background and experience is in domestic and family law, which she has been doing since September 1995. Stephenie is known for her kindness and dedication to our clients. She works hard to provide excellent representation and has a great desire to help each person in his or her time of need.

Susan Corner Rosen

Susan Rosen is an experienced trial attorney who has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of cases with an emphasis on medical malpractice and personal injury litigation. Susan has been selected by her peers to be included in The Best Lawyers in America in both the medical negligence and personal injury categories. She was the Best Lawyers' "Personal Injury Lawyer of the Year" for Charleston in 2013 and Best Lawyers' "Medical Malpractice Lawyer of the Year" for Charleston in 2018 and in 2011. For many years, Susan has been selected for inclusion in the South Carolina Super Lawyers magazine. She was selected for the Leadership In Law Award in 2013 by South Carolina Lawyers Weekly. Susan is also a Circuit Court Mediator, certified by the South Carolina Supreme Court. She has represented numerous people in medical malpractice claims and won one of the largest medical malpractice verdicts in the state - a $7 million verdict awarded by a Greenville County jury. Her prosecution of a civil murder case in a federal court in Atlanta gained national attention and was reported on national television. She has represented clients in a variety of matters including wrongful death claims, unfair trade practices, products liability claims, medical malpractice claims, commercial disputes, and an extensive number of employment suits. She is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), previously serving as the President of the Charleston Chapter. Ms. Rosen is also a member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum. Ms. Rosen is also a Circuit Court Mediator, certified by the South Carolina Supreme Court. She is a member of the James L. Petigru American Inn of Court. Ms. Rosen has been published in numerous legal publications. She authored the topic, Accountants, which was published in SOUTH CAROLINA JURISPRUDENCE, and co-authored the topic, Fraud, also published in that multi-volume treatise. Additionally, she co-authored an article entitled "Controlling Person Liability for Motor Vehicle Dealer Violations of the South Carolina Motor Vehicle Unfair Trade Practices Act: A Proposal for Reform," 47 S.C.L. REV. 349 (Winter 1996). She has lectured at legal education seminars for the South Carolina Bar, Charleston County Bar, ABOTA and the South Carolina Trial Lawyers Associations and has received an AV rating - the highest professional rating in the MARTINDALE-HUBBELL LAW DIRECTORY. She also served as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Medical University of South Carolina from 1985 through 1998. Ms. Rosen is admitted to practice in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and South Carolina and is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the United States Courts of Appeal for the Fourth, Eleventh, and Federal Circuits, and the United States District Courts for the Districts of South Carolina and Rhode Island. She is a member of the Massachusetts, Rhode Island, South Carolina and Charleston County Bar Associations, the American Bar Association (Litigation and Labor & Employment Law Sections), the South Carolina Women Lawyers Association, the South Carolina Trial Lawyers Association, and the American Association for Justice (President's Club, Co-Chair Ethics Committee, State Liaison to Women Trial Lawyers Caucus, Professional Malpractice Section and Birth Trauma Litigation Group). She served as Chairperson of the Charleston County Bar Association's Continuing Legal Education Committee from 1989 until 1991 and again in 1995 until 1996 and served on its Executive Committee from 1990 until 1992 and 2003-2004.Ms. Rosen also served on the South Carolina Bar's Task Force on Civil Justice and the South Carolina Task Force on Courts and on the South Carolina Supreme Court's Common Pleas Docket Management Task Force. Ms. Rosen earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Cornell University and graduated cum laude from Suffolk University Law School. She served as Special Assistant Attorney General for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and as Associate and then General Counsel to Cranston Print Works Company, a textile printing company with corporate offices in New York City and Rhode Island.
