FHCC - Key Persons
I started working at FHCC in July 2022, I have 9 years childcare experience and I am level 3 qualified in childcare. I have worked my way through starting from a nursery practitioner to being a room leader, 3rd in charge and then a deputy manager. My role here at FHCC is to help and support the manager as well as supporting the staff in their practice. I am enjoying my time at FHCC.
Practitioner Marco Di Piazza I come from Italy therefore I am bilingual, I speak Italian, English , and I am quite good in French and German. My studies took place in Italy and in the UK. I achieved a level 3 Cache Diploma in childcare. My first placement and work experience have been at FHCC, during my almost 12 years here I have had the opportunity to work with all different age groups and gained knowledge in caring and teaching for children of various backgrounds of life. I am Married and have 2 children of my own. I like travelling, reading, and gardening. Practitioner Zamzam Ahmed I have a level 2 & 3 diploma in childcare. I have been working here for 2 years now, currently in the baby room. I enjoy going shopping and watching movies.
Practitioner Mandip Kaur Sandhu I have a level 3 in childcare and a level 4 in Early years advanced practitioner. I have been working at FHCC for the past 3 years. I enjoy working with children and finding out about their interests. When I'm not at work l love to spend time with my husband and my three children. Practitioner Sobia Mahmood I have been working in childcare for nearly 7 years. I have a CACHE Level 3 in childcare. At FHCC I have worked in the baby room, toddler room and now I am currently working in the pre-school room. I qualify in first aid and safeguarding as well as many other trainings. I have a passion to work with children to enable and enhance their development and learning and to watch them grow into beautiful individuals.
Practitioner Sobia Sultana I'm level 2 qualified and currently doing my level 3. I have been working at FHCC for almost 3 years, it has been a good experience and I've met amazing people, I have a passion to open up my own charity to help those in need. Practitioner Zihan Aweys I have worked at Fellowship house nursery for nearly 2 months now and have a BA in early childhood development and learning. My aim is to gain experience and use the qualities, being approachable and talkative with others I believe is a very important skill, which I have gained from experience, from all the charity work and job roles such as working in a children's home in 2017 and doing work experience in nurseries/ schools during my time at university. Practitioner Momota Choudhury. I have been working with children for the last 30 years. I am working at FHCC as a full time Practitioner November 2021. I have Level 3 Diploma in Childcare. I love my job and enjoy my time with the children. I get on really well with my colleagues. I have a passion for cooking and treating my colleagues at work.
I have been employed at Fellowship House for the last 14 years as an admin, My role involves gathering information for payroll, ordering resources, filing documents, and assisting the manager in running of the office. My hobbies include travelling, exploring different cultures and reading.
I have been working at FHCC since 2003, I started out as a student from college doing my work experience and was then later employed as a full-time practitioner. I have a BA Hons degree in Early years: Education and Leadership in practice. I am also a mother of two and both my daughters have attended Fellowship house and it was the best decision I have made for them. During my time here at FHCC I have had experience in all the age groups as well as all the roles within the nursery. Now as a manager I am here to help, support and guide the staff, parents, and children. I am aware of the quality the nursery should provide for parents and hope to fulfill these duties.
