Brad Hatfield

Brad Hatfield has over 20 years of hospitality, multifamily and commercial real estate experience in various capacities. Prior to joining Frontera, Brad served as Vice President of Finance for Azul Hospitality where he led the financial integration of an eight-hotel management portfolio with $75 million of revenue. Brad previously served as Vice President of Real Estate for J Street Hospitality, a hotel developer with $600 million of investments, where he oversaw asset management and focused on development site acquisitions and financing. Prior to J Street, Brad served as Director of Acquisitions for JC Resorts, a hotel and commercial real estate owner with $300 million of real estate investments, where he led acquisitions and assisted with asset management and finance. Brad also worked at CNL Hotels & Resorts, previously a public REIT, where he assisted with over $5 billion of acquisitions. Brad graduated from Indiana University with a BS in Accounting and is a licensed California Real Estate Salesperson.

Bryan Grissinger - Founder

As the principal and co-founder of Frontera Real Estate, Bryan's experience spans several aspects of commercial real estate, including acquisitions, development, operations, design, and construction. He has worked in multiple asset classes, including multifamily, self-storage, retail, and office. Since Frontera was formed in 2015, Bryan has overseen the management of a portfolio of self-storage properties and has been engaged in every aspect of the business, from day-to-day operations to the acquisition and development of new assets. Before forming Frontera Real Estate Investments, Bryan was the Director of Acquisitions & Development for a privately held real estate owner, investor, and developer with over $4 billion in assets. Bryan managed a commercial portfolio including roughly 750,000 square feet of retail, office, and self-storage assets. He was also responsible for new acquisitions and entitlements of self-storage assets and land development opportunities. Previously, Bryan was a pre-construction and project manager for a national general contractor based in Chicago. Bryan has a Masters in Real Estate from the University of San Diego and a bachelor's degree from the University of Notre Dame, with a major in architecture and concentration in business administration. He is involved with several local organizations in San Diego, including the Holiday Bowl Committee, which puts on the Holiday Bowl college football game in San Diego each year. He was a Notre Dame Boxing Club member and competed as an amateur boxer for several years. He spends much of his free time traveling with his wife and two children.

Lisandro Gomez

Lisandro leads Frontera's acquisitions, focusing on sourcing, underwriting, and structuring transactions in the Western region of the United States. He brings over eight years of experience in real estate in both direct investment and finance positions. Before joining Frontera, Mr. Gomez was a Senior Financial Analyst at PriceSmart, where he worked alongside the Real Estate division in the procurement of prospective development opportunities throughout Central America, Colombia, and the Caribbean. During his time there, he helped in the approval of over $100 million in acquisition and development projects. Prior to working at PriceSmart, Lisandro worked with a local San Diego private equity firm, developing and acquiring retail, self-storage, and multi-family assets throughout the United States. Lisandro holds a BA from the University of San Diego, where he double majored in Finance and Real Estate.

Scott Flaming

Scott is a co-founder and acting advisor to Frontera Real Estate. He is also the Owner/President of Southwest Self Storage. He has been involved in Commercial Real Estate for more than 30 years, predominantly in Southern California. Scott started his career with C.B. Commercial Richard Ellis as a Commercial Investment Broker. In 1990 he joined Tierra Corp., a family-owned business specializing in the self-storage business. Scott founded Southwest Self Storage in 2003 with the specific goal to own and operate self-storage facilities. Scott has been involved with the ownership, management, and development of over 30 self-storage facilities in Southern California, Arizona, and Colorado, including over 500,000 square feet of new development. Scott is an alumnus of San Diego State University and is an active member of the San Diego community. He is a committee member for the Holiday Bowl game played in San Diego each December.
