Helping Vision is a nonprofit organization aimed at helping the visually impaired through AI-powered assistive technology. We have and are in the process of hosting events partnered with blind schools in India regarding the distribution of bill detection devices to improve their daily lives... Founded in the fall of 2021, Helping Vision's goal is to improve the lives of the visually impaired. We plan to do so by providing blind communities and schools with AI-assisted technology in order to help them better navigate and decrease the amount of time it takes them to complete their everyday tasks... Figuring out the denominations of currency can be a huge problem for the visually impaired. Although some countries have different sizes and colors for the various bills, others, such as the United States, do not.
