INSPECTOR'S TEST

The Inspector'sTEST products are designed to perform the required sprinkler system's alarm and water flow test. They can also be utilized to test the opening of a dry-pipe or preaction valve and the trip time from when the valve is opened until the arrival of water at the furthest point in the system... On a wet system, Inspector'sTEST should be placed downstream of the waterflow alarm, which could be at the sprinkler riser or remote from the riser. Some jurisdictions have requirements or preferences to locate the inspector's test remotely from the riser, so this is at the discretion of the AHJ...
