The Integrated Media program provides Faculty of Art students with a cross-disciplinary model of learning that emphasizes conceptual development, skills acquisition and critical engagement in relation to time-based media and contemporary art. Digital filmmaking, animation, sound art, performance art, physical computing, animation, sculpture and installation are explored within an integrated environment. The program positions the artist as an innovator and critical thinker whose practice evolves from an embodied engagement with a variety of media, technologies and ideas. Politics of representation ground the Integrated Media program's critical positioning.
