Growing up in a small town taught me three things-Love those around you, embrace every opportunity, and live in the moment. Constantly exploring the outdoors-climbing peaks, swimming in streams, snowboarding the most challenging trails-all of what I loved the most helped me to appreciate the beauty around me. My parents taught me to dream big and love deeply-they consistently challenged me to be my best and explore and enjoy the world around me... I appreciate the beauty and excellence in life that others may just pass right by. A massive moth with the most vivid and unique print on its wings, a cloudless sunset radiating the most beautiful peach ball of warmth, the leaves transitioning to their fall colors on that traffic-filled drive I commute every morning. I stop to enjoy the beauty around me, and have found that photography allows me to capture that beauty for a lifetime.
