KUBERNESIS

Kubernesis is a Greek word meaning one who steers a ship on the right course. It is also the root of the modern word "governance". Great skill and experience is required to navigate a ship through stormy waters. Our mission since 1982 has been to help steer charities through the complex waters of financial management, fundraising and charity law. Although we are now retiring from this work, we stand by this vision... For almost 40 years, The Kubernesis Partnership has offered a single source of assistance to charities and those advising charities on accounting, legal and constitutional matters, including independent examination of charity accounts and charity tax matters (such as tax-effective giving and VAT for charities).
