Dat Nguyen - Chief Legal Officer
Dat Nguyen is a Senior Counsel in the firm's intellectual property practice and complex commercial litigation groups. His practice includes representing clients in federal and state courts, USPTO, and arbitrations involving a variety of matters ranging from intellectual property and commercial disputes.
Joe is an accomplished musician who has collaborated with Grammy Award-winning artists and has performed live on television and radio.
Margaret (Maggie) Buckles is an associate in the firm's commercial, employment and intellectual property litigation practice groups. She has represented clients ranging from individuals to the world's largest corporations in federal and state court proceedings, as well as before domestic and international arbitration tribunals. Her practice focuses on securities, class actions, trade secrets, intellectual property, mass torts, and other complex commercial disputes. Maggie has represented both Plaintiffs and Defendants from inception of litigation through trial in sectors ranging from financial services to technology to real estate to food & beverage. Maggie speaks Spanish and has done legal work in Spanish and for Spanish-speaking clients.

Before joining the firm, Maggie worked at Morrison & Foerster LLP, McKool Smith P.C., and Paul Hastings, LLP. She also served as a law clerk to the Honorable Ronald S.W. Lew in United States District Court for the Central District of California. She graduated Order of the Coif from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law. She received her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in International Relations from the University of Southern California.

Omar Tuffaha is an associate in the firm's intellectual property, employment, and commercial litigation practice groups. Omar is an accomplished litigator with extensive experience handling all aspects of litigation, from pleadings to trial. Prior to joining the firm, Omar was a law clerk to the Honorable Vera M. Scanlon of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. Before that, Omar served as an Assistant Corporation Counsel at the New York City Law Department, where he was primary litigation counsel on a wide range of federal and state actions and advised client agencies and City Hall regarding city-wide policies and practices. In recognition of his outstanding achievements and his reputation for successfully handling complex cases, Omar was awarded the New York City Bar Association's Municipal Affairs Award in 2017. In law school, Omar won a national moot court constitutional competition and served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Justice John Cook of the High Court of Ireland.
Patice Gore is an associate in the firm's commercial and employment litigation practice groups. She represents clients in various aspects of federal and state court proceedings throughout California, and has experience in motion practice in these venues. Outside of litigation, Patice works closely with clients to develop unique strategies to address their needs and interests.

Paul Moskowitz is a partner in the firm's complex commercial litigation practice group. In a career spanning nearly 30 years, Paul has represented a broad array of clients (from Fortune 500 companies to family-owned businesses) in a variety of complex, civil litigation and governmental investigation matters (including high-stakes breach of contract cases, class actions, partnership disputes, False Claims Act cases, and regulatory-compliance matters) in both state and federal courts.
Paul also has experience as an in-house attorney for Fidelity Federal Bank, where he managed multi-jurisdictional litigation. This allows Paul to see litigation from the client's perspective-valuable insight that many litigators lack.

Prashanth Chennakesavan is a first-chair trial lawyer and a partner in the firm's complex commercial litigation, class action and intellectual property practice groups. He has extensive experience representing clients in federal and state courts, and before arbitration panels, throughout the country in a broad range of cases, including trade secrets, antitrust, intellectual property, and other complex commercial litigation.
Sarah Silverton is special counsel in the firm's complex commercial litigation group, specializing in appellate litigation. She has worked on matters as varied as national reinsurance indemnity, securities law, land use and water rights, federal jurisdiction, antitrust, intellectual property and entertainment contracts. Prior to joining LTL, Sarah served as a litigation attorney with Munger, Tolles & Olson's Los Angeles office. She started her career as a law clerk to Hon. Thomas P. Griesa, at the time the Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, before moving on to clerk for the Hon. Pamela A. Rymer of the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. Sarah then spent one term with the Office of the Prosecutor in the Hague, Netherlands, working for the United Nations War Crimes Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia. Before graduating with honors from Stanford Law School, Sarah served as a Notes Editor on the Stanford Law Review and interned on federal appellate cases with the Hon. William W. Shwarzer of the United States District Court for the Northern District of California, sitting by designation as a circuit judge.

Steven Hansen focuses his practice on patent litigation. He has extensive experience litigating patent cases and was previously a patent litigation partner at Quinn Emmanuel Urquhart Oliver & Hedges LLP. Prior to attending law school, Steve was a process engineer and process control engineer for Amoco Oil Company. He was selected to Thompson Reuter's "Super Lawyers" list in 2013.
Steve has experience in a wide variety of technologies, including lubricant chemistries, polyalkylene glycols, alkylene oxide production processes, oil refining, exhaust after treatment, nucleic acid isolation and purification, molecular diagnostic testing, protein chemistry, biosensors, nanotechnology, transdermal drug delivery, rapid prototyping, immunoassays, bicycle components, vehicle lifts, polymers, pressure sensitive adhesives, medical devices, scanning electron microscopy, vehicle safety systems, remote controls, and business methods. He has also prepared and prosecuted numerous utility and design patent applications, requests for reexamination, and reissue applications.
