Abby Frank Taylor

Abby Frank Taylor is an administrator, organizer, and practicing artist currently based in Madison, WI. She has previously worked at Propel Nonprofits, The Loft Literary Center, Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival and Northrop Auditorium. Abby has a background in supporting local dance companies and independent artists with administrative responsibilities ranging from event planning, development, and marketing. She has a B.A. in Dance and a B.I.S. with focuses in Political Science, Communications, and Gender, Women and Sexuality Studies from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities. Her artistic practices include dance, theater, music and pottery. She also is an organizer/facilitator with Showing Up for Racial Justice - Twin Cities (SURJ) and a Pilates instructor. In her free time, she might be found perfecting her sourdough bagel recipe, biking around town, or attempting to knit a sweater.

Alberto Mejia - COO

Alberto Mejia is the COO at Fractured Atlas. Alberto brings over 18 years of experience in cultural sector leadership from directing interdisciplinary community arts centers, program design and management, public and philanthropic cultural investments, community engagement, and cultural policy development and people operations. At Fractured Atlas, he leads day-to-day operations, manages the FinPOps team, and works with the CEO to develop an organizational structure and strategies that advance the mission while supporting and developing a healthy organizational culture. Alberto also leads a consulting practice with a focus on organizational and culture development for cultural and civic entities. He is also a regular presenter & panelist for national conferences and gatherings focused on the creative economy and cultural investments. Alberto is a current fellow in the LIFT Fund Next Economy MBA, a cohort of emerging leaders of an equitable, inclusive and regenerative economy. He is also an alumnus of the National Association of Latino Arts and Cultures leadership and advocacy institutes. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Studies and Political Science from Fairhaven college and a Masters degree in Public Administration from the University of Washington.

Amelia Bethel

Amelia Bethel is an interdisciplinary theatre artist whose work has been presented by the San Francisco Olympians Festival, Atlas Obscura, Chicago Women's Funny Fest, The Tank NYC, and elsewhere across the country. Recent projects include turning her closet into a home recording studio and frantically making all the old bananas in her kitchen into banana bread. Originally from California, she has also called Chicago and New York City home. Amelia received her MFA in Theatre from Sarah Lawrence College.

Anastasia Wardhana

Anastasia Wardhana is an interdisciplinary artist whose creative practice covers a range of different mediums, including book and zinemaking, film, writing, soft structures, and more. Outside of their artistic practice, you can find them taking dance classes, studying astrology, journaling, or daydreaming about where they want to travel to next. Throughout their work and life, their ultimate goal is to use art and storytelling to build collective empathy and create spaces, both physical and non-physical, where people are free to be their authentic selves without fear.

Carli Rhoades

Carli is a Minnesota native with a degree in Acting from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. She is still an actor and storyteller and outside of Fractured Atlas she is also a puppeteer teaching artist. Carli firmly believes that through art, both the world and the individual can be healed and is proud to work for a company committed to liberating artists. At Fractured Atlas, Carli has worked on both the Finance and Operations teams in varying roles. She spends her spare time befriending other people's pets, exploring New York, reading books on topics she knows nothing about, and eating donuts.

Chanel Blanchett

Chanel Blanchett is a multidisciplinary theatre artist with a focus in devised performance. As a writer, director, arts administrator, and teaching artist her work centers around making space for diverse voices and bodies in more rooms. Chanel holds special interest in empowering and creating opportunities for black women and black youth. Through her work as a freelance director and creator, she has worked with a range of organizations from the Creator's Collective to Epoch Tribe, to universities and colleges. Currently, she is working on her biggest project yet: keeping her extremely active and adorable cat from knocking over everything. Chanel received her MFA in Theatre from Sarah Lawrence College, and is a participant in Theatre Communications Group's Rising Leaders of Color program.

Colleen Hughes is an arts administrator and JD Candidate. With over ten years of experience working in the non-profit cultural sector, she has previously worked with Signature Theatre, St. Ann's Warehouse, The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, Berkshire Theatre Group, New Repertory Theatre, and Orchard House Museum. She received a Bachelor of Science in Theatre from Skidmore College, studied directing at the National Theater Institute, and is currently pursuing her JD at New York Law School. In her free time, she can be found watching and supporting live theater and dance, running, knitting, making pizza, or trying to predict reality tv winners.

Emily Kasak is a program and arts administrator with over 15 years of experience facilitating programs in higher education, conferencing and events, advocacy, fundraising, the arts, and music, film, and entertainment management. She's helped organize programs, festivals, and exhibitions in over 25 countries, and she's worked for both a former president and a former Beatle. (Funny where life can take you!) With a background in political science, and a soft spot for public administration, Emily is particularly interested in supporting work and creative programs centered around social and systems change, while also helping artists and collaborators find personal and professional value in creating and maintaining systems and flows that best fit their needs. When out and about, you might find Emily wandering the prairie, daydreaming about rivers, sharing another one of her many (yet still to be materialized) ideas for a children's book, or spending a whole day cooking something she could have easily bought for under $5 at the store, but hey - it's all about connecting to the process!

Farhia Omar

Monica Gonzalez is a native New Yorker who graduated with a B.F.A. in Acting from The Conservatory of Theatre Arts at SUNY Purchase College. Since graduating in 2016, she has worked professionally on stages such as The Cherry Lane Theatre, Syracuse Stage, Geva Theatre Center, The Armory at Portland Center Stage, and The Studio Theatre. Nicky Martinez

Nicky Martinez is a Latine Genderfluid Theater Activist who was born and raised in San Francisco, CA. They have always worked within nonprofit arts organizations, motivated to help change oppressive organizational structures and move towards decolonized work ethics and systems. They have a B.A. in Performing Arts and Social Justice with a concentration in Theater from the University of San Francisco. Outside of nonprofit work, they are a performing artist, poet, voice actor, director, published playwright, and visual artist. They also pride themselves on being an equity, diversity, and inclusion consultant that centers intersectional and accessible learning. In their free time, they love embroidering, crafting miniature horror film décor, and collecting items from the beach to use for their terrariums.

Nico Carpenter

Nico works on the People team at Fractured Atlas, where they find ways for tools and processes to better align with the organization's purpose. Prior to joining Fractured Atlas, Nico worked for a variety of arts organizations including MoMA PS1, Walker Art Center, and Heidelberger Kunstverein, and he still has a particular love (and skepticism) for museums. They also serve on the board of Fireweed Community Woodshop. Originally from Minneapolis, they received a BFA in Art from the University of Minnesota and continues to stay creative through knitting and sewing clothes. He is currently in too many book clubs, but still finds time to read books about organizational culture for fun.

Sophia Park

Sophia Park is a writer, curator, and arts administrator based in Brooklyn, NY and originally from Gumi, South Korea. She received her B.A. in Neuroscience from Oberlin College and currently is a candidate for an M.A. in Curatorial Practice at the School of Visual Arts. Prior to joining the Fractured Atlas's External Relations team, she worked at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. She is a co-founder of Jip Gallery, a curatorial project based in Brooklyn and online. You can find her writing in Womanly Mag, Strata Mag, Monument Lab's Bulletin, Asymptote Journal, Inciter Art, and others. She's currently thinking about communal practices of care, diasporic memory, and artist support. But that may shift readily tomorrow. You can also find her running some silly distance, trying to get back into tennis, or dancing somewhere.

Theresa Hubbard - CEO

Theresa Hubbard is the CEO at Fractured Atlas. Since joining the Fractured Atlas team in February 2011, Theresa has provided support for more than 10,000 artists and arts organizations raising funds for their creative projects. She also develops educational resources for those artists and collaborates with the engineering team to design web-based fundraising tools. Theresa serves on the steering committee of the National Network of Fiscal Sponsors and is a regular presenter at conferences and festivals around the country. In 2016, she earned a Certificate in Arts and Culture Strategy through a partnership between National Arts Strategies and the University of Pennsylvania School of Social Policy and Practice. She also holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Voice Performance from Syracuse University and stays active in the New York choral community by serving on the board of the New York Choral Consortium and by singing with The Oratorio Society of New York and Brooklyn Conservatory Chorale.

Tiffany Vergara

Originally from Los Angeles, Tiffany is fortunate enough to have been raised in a deeply empathetic and artistic household, and she brings that perspective to her work at Fractured Atlas. Centering equity and justice, Tiffany leans hard into her curiosity to find new and creative solutions to challenging problems. At her core, she just wants things to work well and people to be happy. And she brings all of these qualities into her consulting practice, Green Owl Consulting, where she and her team provide support to small organizations nationwide. As a lifelong learner, Tiffany holds a B.S. in Accounting from San Francisco State University, an M.A. in Social Entrepreneurship & Change from Pepperdine University, and a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification. Currently residing in Portland, Oregon, Tiffany loves to dance, kickbox, bake, and be in nature, and she doesn't quite know what to do if music isn't playing.

She is a fan of open source education and people who use nature-inspired metaphors in professional settings.
