Barbara Curry is among the elite and less than 1% of the top attorneys in the state who have been certified as an expert in state workers' compensation law by the North Carolina State Bar's Board of Legal Specialization as a Board Certified Specialist in Workers' Compensation. With over thirty years of experience in workers' compensation law, she possesses six times the minimum required years of experience, extensive continuing legal education, excellent peer reviews, and her passing of the written examination for certification in 2004 when she joined the attorneys and staff at Crumley Roberts with her favorite treasure of camaraderie. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Arts from Asbury College, a Master of Arts degree in Hospital Administration from the University of Kentucky, and her Juris Doctor from Wake Forest University School of Law. (Hence the reason she is a huge Wake Forest fan!) Barbara utilizes her free time in visiting her children in Washington, DC, and New York and in spending time with her family, her friends, and her family dog Watson. Beverly is a Registered Nurse who has spent her life taking care of others. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and Master Degrees in both Business and Healthcare Administration from Pfeiffer University. She has previously worked in all clinical areas of nursing, in hospital utilization management, infection control, safety and employee health. She has played a vital role in developing and implementing various healthcare educational programs and activities and has spent the most recent years of her nursing career as a Chief Nursing Officer in Hospital Administration. In 2013, Beverly joined Crumley Roberts to create our Crumley Roberts Employee Wellness Program along with Kimberly Roberts. Together, they developed and implemented an employee wellness program that now remains at the heart of the Crumley Roberts Brand as an inward reflection of our organization's Core Values to Care Like Family, Listen To Learn and Do What's Right. As a part of that program, Beverly organized employee wellness screenings, exercise classes, flu shot clinics, cooking classes, the addition of the Crumley Roberts Café and in-house weight loss programs for the benefit of all Crumley Roberts employees. Within the first year of the C.R.E.W program, Crumley Roberts was recognized as one of the Triad's healthiest employers. To date, there is 100% employee participation in our Crumley Roberts Employee Wellness Program. Beverly currently works in the Crumley Roberts Marketing and Creative Department as a Special Projects Manager. She works to create, decorate and brand all Crumley Roberts offices and organizes special events within the organization, including annual Holiday Parties and other gatherings. When Beverly is not working on Crumley Roberts projects, she enjoys spending time with her daughter, Kimberly, her son-in-law, Chris, her grandsons, Matthew and Eli, her nephew, Lynn and his wife, Tina as well as with numerous friends and other family members. Beverly lost her husband of 55 years, Leonard, in 2019 and misses him each day. She has wonderful memories of their time traveling with their family. Beverly enjoys scrapbooking, listening to music, water aerobics and continuing this great adventure of life. C. Stevens "Steve" McLaurin is a litigation attorney at the Charlotte, North Carolina, and Columbia*, South Carolina, offices of Crumley Roberts. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in financial management from Clemson University, where he was a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity and president of the marketing association. He went on to obtain his Juris Doctor from Campbell University School of Law, where he was a member of the Trial Advocacy Team and the student government. Chris Roberts is passionate about his family, about his faith, and about helping others. As a National Eagle Scout, Chris learned the value of service leadership from an early age and carries that knowledge into his work today as Crumley Roberts leads initiatives and partners with organizations on a local and national level to make our communities healthier, happier, and safer. As a husband and as a father, he remains committed to Standing Up for others in their time of need and to creating a better and safer world for future generations. In 2014, Chris and his wife, Kimberly, created The Roberts Center for Leadership, Education, Advancement and Development. The Center provides scholarships through its two foundations as well as leadership and wellness initiatives that support and empower individuals throughout the United States. Chris is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and of Campbell University School of Law. He and Kimberly have been married for over 25 years and have two sons, Matthew and Eli. Chris enjoys traveling with his family, playing golf, fishing, hiking, and serving as a Boy Scout Mentor and Leader in his local troop. As the leader in working to keep Crumley Roberts and The Roberts Center dedicated to creating a healthier, happier, and safer future by making their communities better places to live, to work, and to play, Cory truly values the people and the organizations within each community the firm serves. He strives to partner with local groups as all share their commitment to making a positive impact in this world. A "mountain-man at heart," he holds a degree in Design from Brevard College and has worked in the design, hospitality, and nonprofit sectors. Cory, his wife Shelby, and their two children, Emily and Chance, have now called Greensboro home since moving here from Wyoming in 2008. His love for storytelling and creating has led to his enjoyment of teaching improvisational comedy, relaxing through the building of furniture, and valuing the importance of fitness. As a result, he additionally serves as the chief of F3 Greensboro, a national peer-led organization focusing on community leadership; as a member of the Leadership Team for Kiser Middle School; and as the chair of the Triad Community Council for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. For his leadership in the F3 Greensboro Push-ups for Playgrounds, Cory received The Roberts Center's Ethan J. Parlier "No One Stands Alone" Award for 2019.

Tyler Nabors is a litigation attorney who assists his clients in achieving their goals through clearly understanding who they are, truly listening to their unique stories, and successfully avoiding a "one-size-fits-all" approach in determining their individual needs. His efforts to help his clients find peace and reach their goals are enhanced by his determination to touch the lives of those he has the opportunity to serve and by his passion for learning about new areas of law in personal injury, insurance, wills and estate litigation, bad faith litigation, and long-term disability with a focus on ERISA litigation. Tyler studied Comparative Politics at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland; graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro; received his Master's degree in Advanced Legislative Systems from North Carolina State University; and obtained his Juris Doctor from the Campbell University School of Law. While in law school, he spent two years as editor of the Campbell Law Review and served as a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America Trial Team and as vice president of the Campbell Law School Student Government. He and his wife Sarah have two children, Ashe and Mabry, and he enjoys spending time with his family, coaching his son's soccer team, and serving as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of his children's school. Having been born and raised in the mountains of North Carolina, Tyler further enjoys being outdoors, hiking, snow skiing, camping, and trail running. He has also climbed to the summit of Mount Rainier and has twice rafted the Grand Canyon. An accounting degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a background in tax accounting set the stage for her join the innovative leadership at Crumley Roberts in 2006 as Director of Accounting and to develop the accounting team to an efficient and client service oriented arm of the Firm. When not studying the numbers, or improving processes and client service, Donna enjoys embracing life though yoga, motorcycling, kayaking, running, paddle boarding, and rescuing animals.
