GREENTRIKE

The work of the Children's Museum of Tacoma has evolved and grown over the last decade. We are an education and advocacy organization that has become more than a museum. We changed our name in fall 2019 to reflect this organizational growth, and are now called Greentrike, the nonprofit organization that supports existing programming and advocacy for children and youth in Pierce County, Washington... Today, Greentrike operates the Children's Museums of Tacoma and at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, featuring a first-in-kind donation-based admission model known as Pay As You Will... At Greentrike, our mission is to honor children and youth and champion play. Everything we do begins with our image of the child. We believe children and youth are creative, capable, compassionate, inquisitive, authentic, and leaders.
