Originally from Colorado, Adrienne Zetterquist made a big move while in middle school to Wake Forest, North Carolina and has been living in the Triangle ever since. The move helped Adrienne broaden her comfort zone with meeting new people and now helps her relate to relocation and transplant clients. Adrienne received a degree in Business and Computer Science from NC State University and spent three years as a Project Engineer for a small local company. She is passionate about new technology and how it can help her manage her time and resources. While in college Adrienne was a barista at the very first Starbucks in North Carolina located on Hillsborough Street. She continued to work there (very part time) even after her formal education. Once she had vested her options in the company stock plan she was able to cash out and use the money to purchase her first house while still in her tender twenties. It is obvious that Real Estate was a passion even from the beginning! She has been selling residential real estate for the past 14 years and has received many awards including Re/Max executive, 100%, platinum, chairman and titan awards for sales volume and commissions. She was most recently named one of Expertise's Top 20 Best Real Estate Agents in Raleigh.
Adrienne is a newlywed, married in February 2014 to husband Burton Smisson and has a toddler, Olivia Hazel Smisson, born March 17, 2016. She has enjoyed motherhood tremendously but her other passions are volunteering with our local veterans at the Durham VA and working with German Shepherd Rescue groups to help save, foster and love rescued german shepherds in the area.

Alisha is a transplant from New York who has proudly called North Carolina home for the past 10 years. She began her career with a degree in psychology and a masters degree in pharmacy, but has continuously broadened her skill sets as her career has evolved in the time since. Through working with the government she became an expert at moving through complex situations and arriving at a winning outcome. As the owner of a small business in New York, she honed her client service skills and learned to problem solve amidst many moving parts. All of these built a phenomenal foundation for the real estate career she began in the mid-2000's. Her clients regularly thank her for going above and beyond to understand their goals, and remain attentive throughout their transaction together. Her previous career experience really shines through on the financial side, as she is an expert at advising her clients and negotiating on their behalf. Alisha has brought these skills to the table to serve many happy clients, and she's so excited to continue to do so.
Alisha loves to bring people together, and in her free time you'll often find her hosting neighborhood game nights and wine tastings for her circle of friends. She lives in Raleigh with her three children and loves the beautiful North Carolina weather. She spends as much time as possible outdoors taking walks and gardening, and takes full advantage of our proximity to the coast - she is always ready to squeeze in a quick beach trip!
Amber came to the Raleigh area for school, graduating from St. Mary's High school and then N.C. State University, and has now called the Triangle home for over 25 years. She has been married to her husband Mike for almost 18 years and they have three kids, Keaton, Emery and Culley that keep them very busy. They are long time members at The Summit Church, love cheering for the Boston Red Sox and traveling to new places. She also tries her best to keep up with her fellow classmates at her CrossFit gym as often as she can.
While she is new to real estate after being a stay at home mom for more than 14 years, she loves how the Lord has brought her full circle as her first gig out of college was with a local builder as a new home sales agent. She is so excited to learn and grow in this industry and use the giftings that she has been given to collaborate with the Relevate agents so together they can best serve their clients and assist them with all of their real estate needs!

Arianne is a North Carolina native who attended college at Appalachian State University, where she received her Bachelor's Degree in Communication with a focus on Public Relations. She started her career in real estate in the analytical and marketing fields which have helped her gain a dynamic set of skills for her clients. She prides herself on her high level of professionalism and communication. She has a passion for negotiation, strategy and research. Arianne believes the importance of meeting the needs and goals of her clients is a top priority, which drives her ability to provide stellar service every step of the way.

Ashley Unzicker serves Hunter Rowe on the Growth Marketing team. Producing content in creative ways has always been a passion of hers. Whether through video, music, or writing, she has garnered millions of views on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, etc. Ashley believes that communication is of great value, both in professional and personal aspects of life, and brings this experience to agents and clients. Ben Marshall grew up in Cary and attended Athens Drive High School. He then headed west to Nashville and earned a BBA in finance from Belmont University. While pursuing his degree, he became a certified personal trainer and worked with students, faculty, and staff. After graduating, Ben got into commercial real estate and was involved in tenant representation for retail and office space. In the fall of 2016, he made the move back to the Triangle area. Ben's random interests include: drumming, weightlifting, cooking, woodworking, and anything in the great outdoors. He is a member of The Summit Church. Throughout his various careers, from personal training to real estate, Ben always enjoys helping people navigate complicated processes in order to achieve great goals and he is honored to be doing just that at Relevate.

Having bought and sold multiple homes in both California and the Raleigh NC area, Brandon Carlton is no stranger to the challenges that the real estate market can present. Born and raised in Northern California, Brandon transitioned to a life in North Carolina in early 2020. He instantly fell in love with the greenery, friendly people, and vast rural areas. Brandon and his wife Sienna have 3 children under the age of 5 and another currently on the way. So when Brandon is not helping clients buy or sell their homes, he will be found spending time with his wife and children. Outside of his family, Brandon enjoys playing music (guitar and piano), hiking, golfing and recreational sports. Brandon also likes to serve in his local church as he is able. Bridget began her career in real estate in 2020. She has a BS in Psychology and previously loved working as a nanny until having a family of her own. For Bridget a career in Real Estate was inevitable.
Bridget's interest in Real Estate stems from growing up with a father who built a successful career designing, building, and remodeling homes. Seeing how their community held her father in such high regard for his work based on his honesty, integrity, and passion resonated with Bridget and is reflected in everything she does.
Although Bridget originally relocated from a small town in New York to North Carolina in 2009 she has substantial knowledge of the Triangle and surrounding areas. Prior to settling down in Fuquay-Varina with her husband, two young daughters, and their one eyed adopted pup, Zelda, they lived all over the triangle.
Bridget is an active member in her community which includes sitting on the board for her neighborhood HOA. Brittany is a Florida native who moved to Raleigh with her family in 2002 when she started high school. She grew up surrounded by team environments in her sports careers throughout high school and college and led her collegiate volleyball team with pride. Following college, she went on to earn her Doctorate in Physical Therapy and served as a physical therapist in a variety of settings for nearly 9 years before deciding to pursue her other passion of real estate.
With her strong background in patient care, Brittany has cultivated the skill of establishing a strong trust with whomever she is working with and knows the importance of keeping an excellent line of communication open with each of her clients so that all parties involved know exactly what to expect, leaving everyone comfortable and at ease with the process.

Carla was born and raised in Sanford, NC, and attended Central Carolina Community College. She has lived in Clayton, Willow Spring, and Raleigh over the past 25 years but just 2 years ago moved back to her childhood home in Sanford. Carla married her husband George on 2/22/2019 and they share 4 kids between the two of them…. three of which will be in college at the same time beginning the fall of 2022!
After being a stay-at-home mom for 13 years, Carla received her NC real estate license in 2016 and has been a full-time agent since. During her 5 years as an agent, Carla also acted as a transaction coordinator for fellow agents. In doing so, she has taken part in close to 60 transactions.
Due to her husband's 16-year Marine Corps career, Carla has developed a passion for serving our active duty, retired, and veteran military families. She received her Military Relocation Professional certification in 2020. This certification, along with her personal home buying experience, has equipped her with the knowledge to handle the intricacies of the VA Loan process which can be very taxing on clients and agents alike. Christine Nguyen, a Wisconsin native, attended Marquette University. In 1999 she moved to Raleigh. She has owned multiple successful businesses, including restaurants, sports bars, and several nail salons. Her knowledge of business ownership and management helps to contribute to her success in real estate from customer service, problem resolution to negotiation.

After Chuck earned his Real Estate License in 2008 (and subsequently named Rookie of the Year!), he spent the next five years building a successful business and an outstanding reputation in the industry. Since then, he split his time between his love for selling homes and his newly found passion for health coaching, fitness and nutrition. Prior to joining Relevate, Chuck also worked in new home sales for a local custom home builder. When Chuck is not working, he enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife, playing with his two amazing children, hosting his own podcast, studying leadership or out on a LONG run. David has lived in the Triangle Area all his life. Real Estate has always been a part of his life from a young age working summers in the family's construction company to developing and constructing entire neighborhoods. After graduating from UNC Wilmington, my now wife and I spent 6 months in the Czech Republic teaching English in a 16 th century castle for Charles University. When an opportunity became available with the YMCA we returned to the area to start our family. After 20 years of marriage we are proud parents of twin eleven year old girls. My parents and sister have also remained in the Triangle and together our family enjoys surfing, golfing and snowboarding.
I am currently a Regional Vice President with the YMCA of the Triangle. My main responsibility is overseeing the daily operations of the four North and East Wake branches including support of our annual and capital campaigns which raise money to distribute back into the communities we serve.

After a decade in general brokerage, Denni joined Relevate in the fall of 2014. Elise is a Texan by birth but for her, not everything is bigger in Texas because a majority of her life she has spent in North Carolina. Elise ventured out to other areas of the country for school to obtain her degree in Psychology from Butler University in Indiana followed by her Masters in Public Health from Boston University. Upon graduation, Elise applied her skills in different industries but desired a career that presented more opportunities for interacting with and serving others which led her to begin her career in real estate nearly five years ago. Elise's background in psychology has played a key role in helping her effectively serve her clients, and she is consistently credited for the service and time she devotes to guiding her clients through the home-buying and selling process. Emily is originally from Washington State and grew up just outside of Seattle, WA. The Triangle area has been her home since 1993. Emily has lived in 3 different states over the years so she understands the value of finding THE place to call home. She attended William Peace University and graduated with her Associates of Science in 1998, then received her bachelor's degree in Biblical Studies from Southeastern College in Wake Forest.
Before making the move into real estate, Emily primarily focused on homeschooling her daughters and substitute teaching part time at local private schools. Emily is passionate about helping and educating her clients. She is eager to serve her clients with enthusiasm, education and confidence.
She has been married to her husband Michael since 2005 and they have two beautiful daughters Celeste and Olivia. She loves movie nights with her family, and taking day trips with them to discover the incredible sights North Carolina has to offer from the mountains to the coast. Erin Murray graduated from Clemson University with a degree in Parks, Recreation & Tourism Management. She moved to Wake Forest, NC in 2007 with her husband Tom and 4 children: Ashley, Tyler, Lexi and Tommy. Work experience includes Walt Disney World, event planning and substitute teaching. Erin is an avid runner and sports enthusiast who loves to travel. She is thrilled to be part of the Relevate team!

Ethan Gabriel was born in Vallejo, California and was raised in Burlington, North Carolina where he considers both cities home. Ethan graduated from Elon University with degrees in cinema and television arts and strategic communications. He has been very fortunate to work in a variety of industries working in retail, study abroad, sports, and entertainment. Ethan has grown to be very fascinated in the relationship between the media and the public and how it can affect everyday society. Ethan tries his hardest to ensure that the people he works with have a positive experience, which brought him into working in events. Born and raised in the Bronx, NY, with roots in Puerto Rico, seventeen years ago, Eunice has called the Triangle home for many wonderful years. She has been involved in Real Estate in New York and in North Carolina and enjoys each day she is able to help her community.
Eunice uses her go-getter mentality to transparently work with clients in setting their goals in finding what they are looking for, always keeping in mind to treat others in the reflection that she wants to be treated. This is a skill and value she has honed over her nearly three decades in the customer service and sales world.
She is also bilingual in English and Spanish and uses this to help others whenever she can.

Gary was a Zoology major who attended Washington State University. A man of many talents and passions he enjoyed a 35 year career as an Airline Pilot where he honed his skills of being calm in all situations. His passion for investment properties and rehabs led him to start and operate Green Forest Real Estate with his son Jed. While running and operating Green Forest Gary worked closely with Relevate. Relevate agents referred Short Sale business to Gary as the local expert in distressed properties. While sad to lose Gary as a short sale specialist Relevate was thrilled to gain Gary as a Client Service Manager. Gary contributes years of experience brokering both the buying and selling of homes as well as a love of person-to-person interactions. Gary resides in Durham with his lovely wife Jody and has three beautiful grown children, Jed, Todd & Tori. While he remains passionate about real estate and his family his first love is the lord.
For over 10 years, Heather has been helping people buy and sell their homes. The purchase or sale of a home is more than a "transaction," it is a very personal experience and Heather treats it as such. It is also the biggest financial investment most people will ever make and decisions made during this time should not be made lightly. Heather invests herself in the process 100% and works diligently to make sure that her clients not only get the best deal financially, but come out of the process satisfied, knowledgeable and happy with their home purchase.
Heather has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Meredith College and lives in Raleigh with her husband, Alex, 3 daughters and many dogs.
Because Heather grew up in the Triangle area, attended college, married & raised her children here, she has witnessed the amazing growth that has taken place over the last 40 years. During that time, she has lived in Cary, Morrisville, Apex, Holly Springs and Raleigh, so she has firsthand knowledge of the area and all it has to offer.
Ian came to North Carolina at the age of 20, straight from Los Angeles. Although he has lived in several big cities across the US, he feels most at home in the Colorado Rocky Mountains where he grew up.
Ian has been working in the Service industry since he was 15, working jobs at chocolate shops, art stores, and as a multi-faceted team member at country clubs, handling an array of daily tasks. In 2021, he decided to make the switch from the service industry to Real Estate, harnessing his passion for economics and combining with years of client service, making him a strong fit for RELEVATE!

Jackson was born and raised in North Carolina. Having been a student at University of North Carolina at Wilmington, Jackson has enjoyed being a permanent resident in Wilmington and all the area has to offer. While attending school, he began to pursue a career in Real Estate in the Cape Fear region. Jaime is originally from Los Angeles, California and has resided in North Carolina for the past 23 years. He grew up in the mountains of Asheville, North Carolina and earned his BSBA in Marketing and Business Management. Jaime has held various sales and management positions throughout his career before finding his passion in Real Estate in the Triangle and surrounding areas.
As a former division 1 athlete, Jaime thrives in competitive situations making him an excellent negotiator for his clients to ensure he can make their homeownership dreams come true. James lives by the phrase "Living Deliberately." He has focused his time and energy on building relationships and businesses to improve his work life balance. James is married to a Wake County Elementary school teacher, has two teenage daughters, a cat and a dog. James has lived in North Carolina for almost two decades but calls New York City home. New York City is where he discovered the passion for Real Estate and the determination to stay focused on a goal.
James has been a Physical Therapist for the past twenty years while focusing his efforts on educating patients and improving their overall experience. Approximately 10 years ago, James decided to venture into Real Estate investing by renting single family homes. This eventually led into flipping single family homes and forming further partnerships with investors. Because he had such a great experience with long term rentals and flipping, he realized helping clients find that perfect home was the missing link in his passion.
James has a BS/MS from D'Youville University in Buffalo, NY and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Stony Brook University on Long Island, NY. He has always been the type of person to figure out problems and make things work. His time as a Physical Therapist has prepared him to serve his clients with unconditional positive regard and support that he will be there every step of the way.
James is a cyclist and can be found cycling throughout Cary for double- or triple-digit miles with his music and occasionally a destination. James loves to travel and explore new places throughout North Carolina and the Country. Jamie was born and raised in Greensboro NC. Jamie has lived in Wilmington, Fayetteville and a couple of years in Colorado before settling down in Durham. She now calls the Triangle her home. Born in Ohio, Jan attended The Ohio University studying Business and Accounting and then moved to Northern Virginia. She lived in Northern Virginia while working for Oldcastle Architectural Products Company in various sales related positions including inventory and custom order management. She moved with family to Raleigh in 2004. Jan joined Relevate in the fall of 2005 and got her Broker License right away. A native of Eastern North Carolina, Jason has lived in the Raleigh area since 2007. He graduated from UNC-Wilmington with a B.S. in Business Administration with concentrations in Marketing and Operations Management. Before entering into real estate Jason spent the past 10 years in sales for construction and industrial equipment markets. His previous experiences have given him a lasting drive and appreciation for building long term relationships. Jason graduated from UNC-Charlotte with a B.S.B.A. in Economics, and went on to earn his Executive Masters degree from UNC-Chapel Hill.
Prior to finding his calling in real estate, Jason had a very successful 12 year career in sales and business development for corporate healthcare. However, after experiencing the unique Relevate systems as a client, Jason knew he found a place where his professional sales prowess could thrive in an environment in line with his own values and beliefs.
