Dr. Charles has a wealth of experience in teaching from secondary to tertiary levels and in educational planning and curriculum development, which spans over thirty years. She has worked extensively in teacher training and professional development and has provided thought leadership in several areas in education, including teacher-efficacy, learning styles, digital literacy development and leadership. Her current specialization and research interests are in the areas of digital literacy development, digital leadership and education in the metaverse. A certified counsellor, she is also an experienced team leader who believes in the power of professional learning communities, to effect personal and organizational change. Dr. Charles is a certified cultural practitioner and creative artist, who has won several awards for her creative writing (poetry and short story genre) and is the author of three self-development books. She brings her wealth of experience, her passion for life, people development and for the arts, to all of her personal, creative and professional endeavours.
