Dr. Sharon L. Haase

Dr. Haase is a Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. She has been teaching UW Senior Medical Students in her Comprehensive Internal Medicine Practice in Beaver Dam since 1988. A hospital leader, Dr. Haase chaired key clinical committees at Beaver Dam Community Hospital, including tenure as Chief of Staff. She continues to serve on key committees since the hospital change over to Marshfield Medical Center of Beaver Dam. She served for ten years on the hospital board, including its executive committee during the time when the new Beaver Dam Hospital was built. She continues to serve on the Beaver Dam Hospital Foundation Board as an officer on its Executive Committee. Dr. Haase has been a community volunteer and leader, including Past President of the Dodge County Medical Society and Tuesday Noon Kiwanis Club. She is the founder and leader of the E-CLuB for Kidz. Dr. Haase also has served many roles in numerous State and National Medical Professional Societies and was the first female in the State of Wisconsin elected as the Governor of the Wisconsin Chapter of The American College of Physicians, a role she served in for four years. In 2011, she received a citation by the State of Wisconsin Legislature for excellence in Medical Care and Education in the State of Wisconsin. In April 2015, the National ACP celebrated its 100th anniversary, during which time Dr. Sharon Haase was recognized and awarded Mastership in the College as the 22nd physician in Wisconsin history to achieve this status. In 1982, Fred F. Schwertfeger became the Chief Executive Officer of Horicon Bank and Sword Financial Corporation, the holding company of the bank which was started by Mr. Frederick R. Schwertfeger in 1977. Fred graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with an Economics major. He received a Master of Business Administration degree with a Finance major from Northwestern University in 1967. Kailey Bauer

Kailey bridges the gap between the front line and the back office. Her role as a Universal Banker Trainer in the branch means she is an active Personal Banker for customers, but she gets to offer expertise and training to her coworkers. Kailey enjoys being a problem solver, coach and teacher - helping both customers and other employees understand more complex accounts and processes. Kailey says her favorite group of customers to work with are high school and college students opening up their first accounts. She enjoys the opportunity to educate customers on banking and budgeting - things they may not get the opportunity to learn in school. Robert earned his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Business Administration from Louisiana Tech University before becoming a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the states of Louisiana and Wisconsin. He is also a graduate of UW-Madison's Graduate School of Banking program and earned his Certificate of Executive Leadership from the UW-Madison School of Business.

Rose supports, coaches and mentors Horicon Bank's market managers, branch managers, Customer Support Center and virtual banking specialists. She works closely with employees to help them develop and grow in their careers while deepening customer relationships to grow the bank. Rose enjoys supporting her community in her role and encourages her team to get involved by volunteering as well. Rose earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration from UW-Milwaukee and is a graduate of and received an Executive Leadership Certificate from UW-Madison's Graduate School of Banking. She serves as a committee member on the Wisconsin Bankers Association's Retail Committee. Experience Rose has more than 40 years of experience in the banking industry. Sarah Mirr

Experience Sarah has more than 6 years of experience in the banking industry and has been with Horicon Bank since 2021. Expertise Customer Service | Problem Solving | Communication Extracurriculars Sarah enjoys helping her community. She is passionate about fostering dogs and volunteering at multiple different animal rescues. Years ago, Sarah was a Correctional Officer at an all-male maximum security prison for 5 years too!

He serves as the business client's primary point of contact and key financial advisor for their relationship with Horicon Bank. Steve says that "through building relationships with business owners, I work on a local level to provide the best service to fit each individual business. I also take pride in serving the community. By being active in the community through volunteer work and my professional position, I have grown to care deeply about the success of the Fond du Lac community, and it is an honor to work for an institution that feels the same way." Steve is a graduate of UW-Madison, where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration. He has been recognized for his extensive community commitment by being named Volunteer of the Year by Envision Greater Fond du Lac, an honorary Paul Harris Fellow by Fond du Lac Noon Rotary, the Donald G. Jones Leadership Alumni Award as well as the Wisconsin Alumni Association "Badger of the Year." Experience Steve has more than 23 years of experience in the banking industry. Terry O'Connor

From operating lines of credit and equipment term loans, to real estate construction/term loans, he has the knowledge and experience to find the right fit for business owners. Terry wants to help clients succeed financially. He enjoys reviewing customers' financial statements and structuring a plan that helps them grow their business, build equity and achieve their goals. Terry graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in agricultural business management/ag finance. Experience Terry has more than 37 years of experience in the banking industry. Tim Dillie

Tim enjoys helping businesses achieve optimal success and growth by providing superior customer service. Tim says he enjoys the relationships he forms with customers and that "no matter the type of business, I want to do whatever I can to help them succeed using a variety of products and services." Tim grew up on a dairy farm in Wisconsin and has worked in the agricultural sector his entire career in a variety of capacities. Tony Kneepkens

Tony works closely with both the lending and credit teams at Horicon Bank to assist customers with their small business lending and deposit needs. He also uses his expertise to advance projects within the bank to increase lending technology and efficiency. Tony has a banking and finance degree from Fox Valley Technical College and has completed the Center for Financial Training's Commercial Lending School. Tracy L. Warden

Tracy serves as Treasurer for the Horicon Lions Club and is the Club's Chair of the Vision Screening Committee. She also serves as a Board Member for the Horicon Chamber of Commerce. Tracy is a baseball fan and loves cheering for her favorite teams (which includes any team that her nieces and nephews play on and the Milwaukee Brewers!)
