My research activities focus on translational studies in brain tumors. The main goal of my research is to explore the molecular pathways/factors that control tumor development and progression both in pediatric and adult brain tumors, ultimately translating this molecular mechanistic knowledge into clinical applications through the development of novel therapeutic drugs, extracellular vesicles (EV)-based gene delivery tools and patient serum/EV-based biomarker screening tools for brain tumors leading to improved outcomes for patients...
