A three-year stint as a Staff Attorney to Federal Social Security Judges brought Seng to Fresno, California. He spent the ensuing thirty years of his legal career engaged in general civil litigation in Central California with what was then Blumberg, Sherr and Kerkorian (and became Blumberg, Seng, Ikeda and Green), and then with Farley Seng DeSantos & Green, and finally, with Seng & Stratton. The earlier of these years, before rigid litigation specialties became the norm, exposed him to a wide variety of cases and trials on both sides of the table - on issues generated by non-litigating tax, business, real estate and estate planning partners - including personal injury, wrongful death, product liability, contract, Commercial Code, property, crop loss, and domestic relations cases... Beginning in about 1985 and continuing until he took the bench, Judge Seng's practice focused on the defense of attorneys, Certified Public Accountants, and banking professionals in malpractice actions.
