James Beck

James comes from a mixed background of 10 years of small business management and 15 years of construction experience, with time spent in drainlaying, building, shop-fitting and site/project management. Thanks to this wide range of experience, James is able to effectively manage resources, coordinate with various stakeholders and handle any challenges that may arise during the construction process. James is responsible for the management of the entire construction process from planning to execution, ensuring smooth operations and maintaining high standards. James is extremely passionate about the building industry, especially the renovation and retrofit sector and is especially proud of his work restoring one of NZ's Historic Hotels.

James has been active in the property market for over 2 decades, initially starting to build a portfolio by buying and renovating unloved rental properties in the Wellington region from age 22. James has a real passion for upgrading old properties, often derelict or uninhabitable and turning them into homes that people love. James also has extensive knowledge of hospitality and office fit-outs and has completed dozens over the last 2 decades. James also has first-hand experience with land development and subdivision, luxury new build project management and maintaining a rental portfolio. He's been directly involved in over 60 residential & commercial renovations, developments and shop fit-out projects. James spends his weekends yacht racing or with his young son at hardware stores and working on his property projects.
