Claudia Reino Santamaría

Throughout her academic career, Claudia has gained extensive experience working with clients from various cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds, and she has developed a strong foundation in the field and a passion for working with diverse populations. Claudia is committed to serving underserved communities and creating a safe space for all individuals seeking support. Claudia's expertise extends to psychotherapy and psychological assessment, and she has received training in a wide range of assessment techniques and areas, including cognitive, achievement, behavioral, and diagnostic assessment. She is skilled in administering, scoring, and interpreting assessments, and is committed to providing comprehensive, accurate, and culturally sensitive assessments to all clients. Claudia has 3 years of experience serving families in the Austin area, including in various elementary and middle schools as a school psychologist in training providing assessment and counseling services; in private practice in the Austin area providing psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and young adults; as well as at the Dell Seton Medical Center providing consultation services. Fluent in Spanish and Galician, as well as an advanced conversational level of Portuguese, Claudia has experience providing bilingual psychological services to clients. Her practice is informed by culturally-responsive, evidence-based, and client-centered care.

Dr. Asha Unni

Dr. Asha Unni (She/Her/Hers) is a Licensed Psychologist who provides psychological evaluation, therapy, and consultation services for children, adolescents, families, and young adults. She received her Masters in Educational Psychology and doctorate in School Psychology from Texas A&M University. Dr. Unni completed her APA-accredited predoctoral internship at the Illinois School Psychology Internship Consortium, and her postdoctoral training was completed at Austin Child Guidance Center. She has provided services in a variety of settings, including schools, community mental health clinics, university clinics, private practice, and within the juvenile justice system. Across her services, Dr. Unni provides evidence-based, trauma-informed care. She strongly believes in the importance of understanding the whole picture of an individual's life in order to learn about their strengths and paths for growth. All individuals are resilient in their own ways, and Dr. Unni wants to help her clients harness that to continue to thrive. Dr. Unni is also passionate about advocating for underserved populations and helping individuals process how oppressive systems impact their life experiences. She hopes to provide a safe space for individuals from all backgrounds, identities, beliefs, and experiences. Dr. Unni is also a PSYPACT (Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact) psychologist, which means she is licensed to practice telepsychology services in multiple states. This allows her to follow her clients through career and academic transitions, including following adolescents off to college when they are bound for a PSYPACT state. Dr. Kristen Beers

Dr. Kristen Beers is a Licensed Psychologist and Licensed Specialist in School Psychology, specializing in neuropsychological and psychological assessments and consultation services for children, adolescents, and young adults. Dr. Beers earned her Ph.D. in school psychology at The University of Texas at Austin with a focus in neuropsychology. She completed an APA-accredited predoctoral internship in pediatric neuropsychology at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center, followed by two years of postdoctoral training in pediatric neuropsychology at the Texas Child Study Center/Dell Children's Medical Center and the Austin Psychology & Assessment Center (APACenter). Dr. Beers provides comprehensive neuropsychological and psychological evaluations and consultation services for children (ages 5+), adolescents, and young adults with a range of developmental, medical, and neurological conditions. Dr. Beers also serves as the consulting neuropsychologist as part of the concussion program for the AHL (Texas Stars).

Dr. Lindsay Evans

Dr. Lindsay Evans (She/Her/Hers) is a Licensed Psychologist who provides therapy, psychological evaluations, and consultation services. She specializes in working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families. Dr. Evans earned her bachelor's degree in psychology from Princeton University and her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Vanderbilt University. She completed an APA-accredited predoctoral internship at Baylor College of Medicine and postdoctoral training at the Austin Psychology & Assessment Center (APACenter). During her clinical training, she worked with children, adolescents, and young adults with a range of emotional and behavioral concerns in outpatient settings, school and university clinics, and intensive treatment programs. She has also served as a clinical supervisor for postdoctoral residents and practicum students. Dr. Evans has training in evidence-based therapies to treat anxiety (such as generalized anxiety, social anxiety, and anxiety related to achievement), depression, ADHD, and behavior problems. She has a background in working with individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorders (ASD), conducting comprehensive evaluations, and she has a thorough understanding of special education and Section 504 services and accommodations.

Dr. Shanna Reeves

Dr. Shanna Reeves (She/Her/Hers) is a Licensed Psychologist and Licensed Specialist in School Psychology who completed both her masters and doctoral degrees from The University of Texas at Austin after completing her undergraduate degree at Texas A&M. She has 20 years of experience serving families in the Austin area. Dr. Reeves completed an APA-accredited internship at the University of New Mexico Children's Hospital and then moved back to Austin to complete her post-doctoral training at a local school district. She served on a multidisciplinary Autism assessment team in Austin school districts and was the primary consultant for the emotionally and behaviorally challenged classrooms at the elementary level. She also developed a specialization working with the Children's Blood and Cancer Clinic at Dell Children's Hospital before moving to full-time private practice. She is one of the leading psychologists in the area and has developed life-long relationships with her patients and their families. Founding Texas Psychology & Assessment Center, cultivating a person-centered practice with her friends and colleagues, collaborating with nonprofits in rural areas of Texas, and contributing to the training of future helping professionals is truly a dream come true for Dr. Reeves. Latha Unni

Latha Unni (She/Her/Hers) is a 3D artist and content creator. Latha received her Bachelor of Science in Visualization with a minor in Psychology, from Texas A&M University in 2020. Throughout her time in college, Latha has worked different jobs within the Educational Psychology department. She held a position at the department's office, where she collaborated with school and counseling psychology professors as well as bilingual and special education professors. Latha also served as a graphic designer for a graduate school psychology research lab, where she designed original logos, graphics, and infographics for a series of graduate research posters and educational psychology textbooks. Latha works with TPACenter to create original content on our Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok accounts. She is also our general tech wizard, and assists our clinicians with a variety of specialized administrative tasks, as well as assisting with patient care and coordination as needed.
