TYLER'S DRYER VENT CLEANING

Dryer vent cleaning is one of the most commonly over looked areas of home maintenance. Most don't realize getting their dryer vent clean is important until it's to late. It's recommended to clean it every 6 months. You may not know this but there is a small dryer vent in the back of your dryer. As the lint from your cloths slowly accumulates, your cloths are taking longer to dry. Not only does this cost you time but it's also costs you money. When the dryer runs longer and works harder it uses more electricity. If this problem is left unresolved what happens is your dryer as well as your cloths can get so hot to the touch that it can burn you. In the worst of cases your dryer can even catch fire... It sounds crazy but people have lost their home from not cleaning their dryer vent. Sometime large clumps of lint can break off and turn restricted airflow into no airflow very quickly and people find them self with a much larger expense then if they would have had it cleaned.
