VALLEYFIELD MUSIC STUDIO

My teaching career started in a quaint little studio in Pickering, Ontario. I was looking for a way to make some extra cash while going to college, when a friend suggested that I try teaching piano. What started as a part time job to help pay bills, grew into a passion that I have never been able to shake. Little did I know that over 15 years later I would still be teaching. My goal is to help my students harness their love for music and to influence them positively along the way. Throughout the years I have had students of various ages and backgrounds, but the one thing they all had in common was the look of wonder on their faces when they mastered something they thought impossible. This is what makes teaching so rewarding for me... exams through the Royal Conservatory of Music. Other experiences I have are, playing in church for over a decade and performing in many music festivals and recitals... Currently, I teach piano and theory out of my home studio, both in person and online...
