John Leonard

Job Titles:

John is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland (FCA) with over 20 year's post-qualified experience obtained through a variety of senior finance roles, including Head of Group FP&A, Financial Director and Group Treasury Manager. Having graduated with a BA Honours degree in Accountancy from the University of Ulster and a PG Diploma in Accounting from Queen's University Belfast, John has worked in a variety of electricity utility companies in both the UK and Ireland, spent two years in Sydney working for investment banks, including Macquarie, and, more recently, has worked in a variety of interim FP&A roles, including Head of Group FP&A for the Manchester Airport Group and FP&A manager for The Very Group (Shop Direct). As a result, he has obtained extensive experience in building, improving and using planning models to deliver budgets, strategic business plans, latest best estimates and monthly rolling forecasts using a variety of systems across a number of different industries.

Will Wardle

Job Titles:

Will has a BA in Economics from Sheffield University and an MA in Banking & Finance (Distinction). After graduation he worked as an Oil and Gas Equity Analyst before joining KPMG's Business Modelling Group. At KPMG, he refined his financial modelling skills, working on major transactions such as a BP overseas joint venture, the post-merger planning following the takeover of Safeway by Morrisons and the disposal of Jaguar-Land Rover by Ford as well as numerous PE transactions. After leaving KPMG, he has contracted for a "Big 4" bank, the NHS, several rail franchises, Manchester Airport Group (where he worked with John) and in the nuclear industry as well as building a variety of fundraising models, including for a FMCG company and a computer software start-up.
