But principally, we help the homeless, jobless, and those who find it difficult to deal with the requirements of official agencies, government departments, and local authorities... NHSL has a small full-time staff supported by a network of volunteers and associates. We have the backing of a number of larger social businesses, and the support of various specialist professionals who give their time and expertise free of charge. As a limited liability company, we have a board of directors which is responsible for running the business and for ensuring that we comply with the requirements of the Community Interest Company Regulator.
