The fund has invested in a number of prominent EdTech companies including Tandem, the leading language exchange platform in the world, Ornikar, Europe's largest driving school, and Aula, a widely adopted learning management system used in UK and US higher education institutions. As Europe's first and largest education technology venture capital fund, Brighteye Ventures closed its first EUR 50 million fund in 2017, and as of the end of 2020 had completed first close on it's second fund at 45.5m for a target of 75m.
