Bill has more than 25 years of experience in the insurance industry. As President, Bill focuses on mergers and acquisitions, internal operational initiatives, as well as organic growth for all of NSM's specialty niche programs. Bill received his B.A. from Villanova University.
Building on extensive industry experience, Chris Hale is a recognized leader and trusted expert in nonprofit insurance. Under his leadership, CPS continues to lead the way in providing unmatched insurance and risk management solutions for those who serve our communities.
Geof McKernan founded NSM Insurance Group as a commercial property and casualty insurance brokerage firm in 1990. After uncovering strong client demand for specialized insurance solutions to meet the unique needs of their industries, he began building his own programs to provide just that.
Geof is a recognized innovator and frequently called-upon speaker in the insurance industry - dedicating his 30-year career to developing successful and profitable specialty insurance programs, along with top-notch talent. Geof founded NSM Insurance Group in 1990, and through his visionary leadership has grown the company to more than 750 employees and $1B+ in premium across 14 locations in the US and UK. Geof is extremely committed to charitable giving and philanthropic initiatives and currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Families Behind the Badge Children's Foundation, a nonprofit that provides necessary financial relief for families of fallen first responders. Geof holds his B.S. in Environmental Studies from Rutgers University, where he was a proud member of the men's rowing team and maintains a competitive spirit in all he does.

Jonathan is responsible for overseeing all financial operations and activities, including maintaining a focus on value creation by providing meaningful and timely insights and actionable strategic advice to business partners across the organization. Prior to NSM, Jonathan was SVP Chief Strategy and Growth Officer for Solenis, a global specialty chemical company, leading more than $1 billion in growth-oriented acquisitions. Jonathan holds a B.S. in Accountancy from Villanova University and an M.B.A. from Columbia University. Jonathan is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Marc is a recognized leader for driving innovation, operational excellence and profitable growth. Marc joined NSM in 2018 to oversee enterprise-wide operations, strategic planning and product management. Prior to NSM, Marc was Vice President of Claims at American Family Insurance, where he led significant change across process and technology. Marc also held several senior roles at Liberty Mutual Insurance, where he was the primary architect of multiple innovation and operational improvement initiatives. Marc holds a B.A. in Political Science from Middlebury College, an M.B.A. from Penn State University and a J.D. from Temple University School of Law.
