With a bit of east and west in her DNA, Anu Gopalakrishnan (pronounced go-pa-la-krish-n-an) comes with years of experience in building brands and business tech communities. She is a designer, entrepreneur, and community builder who'll make you feel seen. Anu believes in growing communities with honesty and authenticity. She leads engagement with the right people, tools, experiences, and resources.
She's used her talents in various industries, from Ford Motor Co. to Sirius XM, the AAA (The Auto Club Group), and more. In these roles, she was exemplary at executing projects focused on digital transformation and tech innovation. Now that she has joined the Developers Alliance, Anu will be heading Developer and Partner Relations - bringing voices of the global dev community together as she plans to roll out advocacy initiatives, build new partners and enhance member engagement.
Anu is a freelance storyboard artist who creates powerful storyboards for people who want to do good outside of work. She also donates her time on the boards of Cleary University (Howell, MI), Mai Family Services (South Asian DV agency), and is the Executive Producer and Tech Labs Curator for TEDx Detroit. After 15 years of broadcasting, it has become an acquired gene for Anu. She currently hosts her radio show Rockin' Raaga where she shares South Asian music and stories with the mainstream community - every Friday on WNZK 690/680AM in Metro Detroit. Anu uses these platforms to give a voice to unheard stories and social issues.
Bruce is the President and CEO of the Developers Alliance, the leading advocate for the global developer workforce and the companies that depend on them. Bruce is also the founder of the Loquitur Group, a DC consulting firm, and the former VP and head of the DC Policy office of Ericsson, a global information and communications technology company, focusing on IPR, privacy, IoT, spectrum, cybersecurity and the impact of technology and the digital economy.
Bruce has previously held senior leadership positions in marketing and communications at both Ericsson and Nortel, as well as senior roles in strategy and product management across wireless, optical and enterprise communication product portfolios.
Bruce holds a JD from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, an MBA from the University of Calgary in Canada, and a BS in Engineering from the University of Manitoba, also in Canada. He is a certified privacy professional CIPP/US.
He is based in the Alliance's Washington DC headquarters.

Geoff Lane serves as the Developer Alliance's head of U.S. policy. In this role he oversees the organization's federal legislative and regulatory agenda as well as state-level efforts.
Prior to joining the Developers Alliance in 2022, Geoff worked with senior Democratic leadership in the House of Representatives. Since his time on Capitol Hill, he has held senior roles at various technology trade associations (including a previous stint at the Developers Alliance). At each stop he led efforts at the intersection of innovation and policy. He has worked on critical policy issues including privacy, encryption, patent reform, workforce development, corporate tax, tax nexus, and research and development.
Geoff holds a B.A. from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. When he is not working, you can find him booing all of his favorite Philadelphia sports teams.

Heather joined the Developers Alliance in 2022 and is the Head of Marketing and Communications. Some of her duties at Developers Alliance include managing the content for all social media channels, defining and implementing marketing campaigns, and managing press relationships.
Before joining the Developers Alliance, Heather worked within the tech industry helping small businesses raise venture capital. She is a seasoned veteran of digital marketing with 15+ years of experience under her belt and is also an accomplished artist, music producer, and entrepreneur.
Heather holds a B.S. from the New England Institute of Art. When she is not working, you can find her outside enjoying nature, making art or music, and hanging out with her French bulldog, Eddie.
Originally from Boston, Heather is now based in the mountains of Asheville, NC.

Karina previously served as Legal Advisor and Internal Market attaché at the Permanent Representation of Romania to the EU. She managed a wide range of matters related to Single Market and Single Digital Market, Better Regulation, and horizontal legal issues. Under the Romanian Presidency of the EU Council, Karina Stan negotiated on behalf of the Council on the Platform-to-Business Regulation and was actively engaged in the discussions on platform economy.
Prior to her work with the Romanian diplomatic mission, Karina spent ten years in European Union affairs within the Romanian Government. While there she coordinated, inter alia, the process for transposition and implementation of EU legislation. Karina holds a law degree and specializes in EU law and policies.
She's a tech enthusiast, enjoying the dawn of the Age of Artificial Intelligence. Other than robots, she's fascinated with cats and owls.
Karina is based in the Alliance's Brussels office.
