Abigail Lindo

I am an alumni of the University of the West Indies with a BSc (Hons) in Physical Therapy graduating in 2016. I am certified in Acupuncture and Dry Needling, IASTM and Cupping. I am passionate, dedicated, reliable, adaptable, I strive for optimal rehabilitation results by ensuring that all treatments are patient specific and evidenced based. I am experienced in the management of orthopaedic, neurological, respiratory, neurosurgical and cardiovascular cases. I provide treatments for patients in their homes, within the hospital environment and at the clinic.

Amanda Maximilien

Job Titles:
  • Certified Pilates Instructor and Muscle Strengthening and Conditioning Specialist
I have 6 years experience in Pilates, reformer and matwork and Pilates for Injured and Special population Individuals. Being a Personal Trainer and TRX instructor has fortified my Pilates Training and propelled me further to provide excellent guidance in the areas of core strength, postural alignment, muscle balance and post rehabilitation conditioning. Being a member of the Team at Back Into Motion I get to be a part of a holistic team of professionals who support and guide patients along their rehabilitation journey.

Carol-Ann Wooding

I gained my BSc in Physiotherapy in 2015 from UWI Mona Campus in Jamaica and my DPT in 2018 in the USA. I am certified in Therapeutic and Sports Massage, Personal training, Acupuncture and Dry Needling. I use my knowledge in manual therapy and exercise prescription to assist my patients regain their function and reduce pain. I am happy to be a part of the Back Into Motion team as we use our collective knowledge and experience to assist you in recovering from injuries, musculoskeletal and neurological conditions as quickly as possible.

Dr. Ryan Jankovich

Job Titles:
  • Chiropractor
I hold an Honours degree in Kinesiology from the University of Western Ontario and continued my studies at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, where I graduated as a Doctor of Chiropractic in 2007. Further to my degrees I have completed numerous certifications including Active Release Techniques (ART), medical acupuncture, Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), and many others. I have spent years in private practice aiding individuals in all stages of injury care. I have been a consulting chiropractor for various FIFA, NHL, CFL, and collegiate athletes and was a yearly lecturer at the University of Ottawa Medical School. My extensive experience in manual therapy and movement assessment helps me locate and treat the origins of my patients' issues and not simply chase symptoms. I strive to provide the most effective evidence-based treatments and strongly believe in educating my patients in all aspects of health and fitness.

Gia Chandler

I am a goal-oriented individual, adept at creating efficient solutions to complete any task set before me. My experience in administration and customer relations serves me well in my role as Clinical Receptionist. I enjoy helping people wherever possible and I get to do that everyday for out patients!

I trained in Mat Pilates in London in 2020 and completed my certification in Reformer Pilates and Exercise Referral in 2021. I believe in the holistic approach that the team at Back into Motion has as it relates to overall physical wellness and I really enjoy working with our clients to regain their strength and confidence in their bodies as they work to achieve their rehabilitation goals.

I graduated with BSc of Physical Therapy from the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus in 2023. I have gained experience in effectively treating orthopaedic, amputee, cardiopulmonary and neurological conditions during my course of study. I am enthusiastic and determined to diversify and further my education in Physical Therapy and to provide evidence-based, individualized treatment programmes to achieve both patient and physical therapy goals. My training has allowed me to provide evidence-based treatments to patients in their homes, in the hospital and at the clinic. I graduated in 2005 from Brunel University, UK with a BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy following my first BSc in Sports Science and Biology. This provides me with the unique combination of physiotherapy with strength and conditioning training insight. Since then I have developed my skill set to provide specialist assessments for a wide range of complex musculoskeletal, neurosurgical, sports injury, rheumatological, orthopaedic, diabetic, women's health, paediatric and oncological conditions. I can provide excellent evidence based treatments and I am certified in Acupuncture and Dry Needling and matwork Pilates. I enjoy the multidisciplinary team at Back Into Motion and the collective use of knowledge to optimise patient recovery.

Terri-Lee Gleason

I have a wealth of experience, education, and expertise in various healthcare settings both in Canada and the United States. Graduating from the University of Toronto School of Medicine in 1999, I embarked on a two-decade career specialising in the treatment of Cerebrovascular Accidents (CVAs), commonly known as strokes, and Parkinson's disease. I am a certified LSVT BIG therapist and Neuro-Ifrah trained; enabling her to make a significant impact on individuals with Parkinson's and other neurological movement-related disorders. My extensive knowledge, dedication and compassionate care have helped countless individuals and families navigate the challenges of neurological disorders, strokes, and paediatric development, demonstrating my unwavering commitment to making a difference in the lives of my patients.
