Dr. Aaron Weiner

Aaron Weiner, Ph.D., ABPP is a board-certified Psychologist and addiction specialist and speaks nationally on the topics of addiction, behavioral health, and the impact of drug policy on public health. He earned his doctorate from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and completed his fellowship in Addiction Psychology at the VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System. His perspective is informed by his years of experience growing and directing addiction service lines for healthcare systems, the current state of medical and psychological research, and his own observations in private practice. He is a strong advocate for evidence-based care in treating chemical dependency and behavioral addictions, as well as a proponent of integrating behavioral health services into medical settings. Dr. Weiner is a member of the Physician Speakers Bureau for the National Safety Council, the Science Advisory Board for Smart Approaches to Marijuana and a former Board Member for the Society of Addiction Psychology.

Dr. Aimee Foster

Aimee Foster is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and the Senior Director of Outpatient and Medical Services for Volunteers of America- Northern Rockies (VOA). She obtained her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Azusa Pacific University in Azusa, CA. She completed her pre-doctoral training with the Rocky Mountain Internship Consortium in Colorado and specifically, the University of the Rockies Counseling Center in Colorado Springs, CO. She went on to pursue her post-doctoral training at the Loma Linda Behavioral Medicine Center in Loma Linda, CA where she earned her expertise in the treatment of eating disorders. She practiced as the primary Treatment Coordinator for the Partial Hospital (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) eating disorder programs at Loma Linda for 2 years before moving into administration within the hospital system. Dr. Foster's areas of interest and specialty include Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), the treatment of eating disorders, and Family Systems Psychology. Her passion for community mental health and the front range called her to Wyoming in 2017 when she accepted a director position with Peak Wellness. Peak has been acquired by VOA. In 2019 she accepted a five-year appointment to the Wyoming Board of Psychology by Governor Mark Gordon and has been serving for the past several years. Her current passions include advocacy and training in the field of psychology, and she is grateful that her current roles allow her the opportunity to tackle both.

Dr. Charles Jacob

Charles Jacob, PhD, is a faculty member at Sacred Heart University in Connecticut. He received his PhD from The Pennsylvania State University and completed a year of additional training at the Center for Cognitive Therapy at the University of Pennsylvania. He has over 15 years of clinical experience conducting and overseeing the delivery of mental health services to individuals with severe mood and personality disorders as well as their families. In addition to training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy for the treatment of borderline personality disorder, Dr. Jacob is an expert in Cognitive Therapy and a highly regarded clinician and scholar. He is a recipient of PCA's David W. Hall Advocacy Award, and has been a featured interview in Counseling Today as well as NPR's The Pulse.

Dr. Cortney S. Warren

Dr. Cortney S. Warren is a board-certified clinical psychologist and former tenured associate professor of psychology at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). She earned her bachelor's degree from Macalester College in 2000 and her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Texas University in 2006 after completing her clinical internship at McLean Hospital/Harvard Medical School. Dr. Warren is an expert on addictions, self-deception, eating pathology, and the practice of psychotherapy from a cross-cultural perspective. With almost 50 peer-reviewed journal articles, 7 book chapters, two books, and 75 professional presentations, Dr. Warren's work appears in some of the field & top journals. She has won some of the most prestigious awards in her field. In addition to publishing in scientific, peer-reviewed journals, Dr. Warren is passionate about bringing theoretically grounded, empirically supported psychological research to the general public. Consequently, Dr. Warren works as a research consultant, keynote speaker, and writes a blog for Psychology Today. In her TEDx talk Honest Liars, and the associated book, Lies We Tell Ourselves: The Psychology of Self-Deception, Dr. Warren describes her view that self-deception is our biggest obstacle to life fulfillment. In 2023, she published a self-help book on love addiction and breakups called Letting Go of Your Ex.

Dr. Josephine DeMarce

Dr. Josephine DeMarce is a highly qualified Licensed Clinical Psychologist. She has a wealth of experience and expertise in her field, having earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biopsychology from Oberlin College in 1999 and a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Virginia Tech in 2006. As a member of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers since 2012, Dr. DeMarce has been providing both in-person and online training in Motivational Interviewing, Motivational Enhancement Therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy for substance use disorders to individuals and organizations. She is currently employed by the Department of Veterans Affairs since 2005. Along with her clinical work, Dr. DeMarce is also dedicated to research and program evaluation activities and has a keen interest in evaluating dissemination and implementation efforts.

Dr. Randy Kamen

Dr. Randy Kamen is a psychologist, leadership coach, educator and author. Dr. Sharon Halliday

Dr. Sharon Halliday serves as the Program Director and Clinical Supervisor at RAPHA Healthcare Services. She also works as a Psychiatrist at Medical Associates in St. Kitts and Nevis. Dr Halliday is very interested in the Dual Diagnosed and Revolving door patients and Recidivists and how Substance Use, Abuse and Dependence worsen the overall prognosis in these patients. She is also interested in how Mental Health and Substance Abuse adds to the overall Global Burden of Disease and in Policy development that would lead to their reduction. Dr. Halliday worked via a Medical School Faculty License in North Carolina from 2015 to 2018 as a Psychiatrist and prescriber of suboxone for Clients in Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) programs. Currently, Dr Halliday has current active Medical Licenses in St. Kitts and Nevis and in Anguilla.

Dr. Stephen F. Grinstead

Dr. Grinstead has a Bachelors Degree in Behavioral Science, a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology and a Doctorate in Addictive Disorders (Dr. AD). He is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, (LMFT) a past California Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC-II), and a current Advanced Relapse Prevention Specialist (ACRPS). He served on the faculty of UC Santa Cruz Extension Alcohol and Drug Studies Program and also taught at Santa Clara University, UC Berkeley Extension and Stanford University Medical School and served on the faculty of University of Utah's School on Alcoholism and Other Drug Dependencies as well as serving as an Adjunct Professor at Alliant University teaching Masters Level and Psy.D. Students the Treating the Addicted Family System course for the Marriage and Family Therapy track for five years. From 2015 to 2018, Dr. Grinstead was the Co-Founder and Chief Clinical Officer of a Residential and Intensive Outpatient Triple Diagnosis Chronic Pain Management Program in Camarillo California. He is author of the book Thank You Adversity For Yet Another Test: A Body Mind Spirit Approach for Relieving Chronic Pain Suffering, as well as author of several other pain management books including Freedom from Suffering: A Journey of Hope, Managing Pain, Coexisting Disorders, and the Addiction-Free Pain Management® Recovery Guide. Dr. Grinstead is also an internationally recognized expert in preventing relapse related to addiction and chronic pain disorders and is the developer of the Addiction-Free Pain Management® System. He has been working with chronic pain management, substance use disorders, eating addiction and coexisting mental and personality disorders since 1984.

Dr. Tenille Richardson-Quamina

Dr. Tenille Richardson-Quamina, LCSW, CSAT-Candidate, has worked in family services and child welfare for over 21 years. After experiencing a steep increase in clients seeking therapy due to issues with the internet, Dr. Tenille went into action. In the era of escalating negative Internet behaviors, it became her mission to help men, women, and teens stop the Internet from being a problem in their life or relationship. She has clocked thousands of hours researching, training, and creating unique tools to counter "The Internet Effect." She founded New Creations Counseling Services in 2016 and has developed customized therapy techniques and preventative psychoeducational workshops to help her clients and the community overcome online addictions, cyberbullying, and online affairs. Dr. Richardson-Quamina is a Clinical Social Worker licensed by the state of Florida and a Certified Sex Addictions Therapist-Candidate. She received her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Howard University, Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Maryland Baltimore, and Doctorate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Virginia Tech.

Ellen Biros

Ellen Biros earned a Master's in Justice from the American University in Washington, DC. and a Master's in Social Work from the University of Georgia. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and has been practicing social work for over 20 years. Currently, she has a private practice where she specializes in the treatment and assessment of individuals with personality disorders, substance abuse issues, and emotional regulation problems. She also provides clinical supervision for social workers seeking their clinical licensure. Ellen is an adjunct faculty member at The University of Phoenix in the College of Social Services and the College of Natural Sciences and at Tulane University in the School of Social Work. Gabrielle Juliano-Villani

Gabrielle Juliano-Villani is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, owner, and founder of Colorado In-Home Counseling, a thriving group practice of 14 therapists, serving adults of all ages who struggle with anxiety, depression, grief/loss, chronic health conditions, trauma, life transitions, and stress management. Sean Knowles

Sean Leonardo Knowles, MD is a physician at the Sandilands Rehabilitation Centre in the Department of Psychiatry in Nassau, Bahamas. He is currently working in the Substance Abuse wards. Dr. Knowles attended Temple Christian Schools during his primary and junior high school years and obtained his senior high school education from Saint Augustine's College where he was his class valedictorian in 1994. He later earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Spanish in 1998 from Saint John's University in Minnesota as a Cum Laude graduate with All-College Honors and earning a Distinction in Biology. Dr. Knowles then obtained a Master of Science degree in Mathematics & Statistics from Youngstown State University in Ohio in 2005 and was awarded the Most Outstanding Graduate Student in the Department of Mathematics & Statistics Award. In 2013, he obtained his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of the West Indies and was presented The Dr. Mortimer Moxey Most Outstanding Performance in Community Medicine Award. Dr. Knowles was also the recipient of a 2016 British Chevening scholarship that afforded him the opportunity to complete a Master of Science Degree in Immunology of Infectious Diseases at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine in September 2017. His thesis is entitled "Understanding the Effects of Free Heme on Human Neutrophil Function." Presently, Dr. Knowles is a member of the National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG) and recently completed the University of Minnesota - Duluth and the North American Training Institute's Studies in Gambling Addiction: Counseling the Pathological Gambler Certification course. Furthermore, Dr. Knowles was born in Freeport, Grand Bahama and is the youngest of eight children. He is extremely proud of his Long Island, Abaco, Eleuthera, and Andros roots and was raised by his maternal grandmother who instilled in him at a young age the values of hard work, believing in yourself and having faith in God. His favorite motto is from Philippians 4:13: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." He not only believes in doing his best at whatever task given to him, but he also values treating people with respect and dignity. In his spare time, Dr. Knowles enjoys weightlifting, kickboxing, traveling, watching thriller movies, public speaking, and mentoring young men. Dr. Knowles' ultimate career goal is to utilize his psychiatry, clinical medicine, mathematics, and immunology of infectious disease training and experiences by serving the public health sector of The Bahamas as a physician, health policymaker, and educator. He also aspires to become a Minister of Health in The Bahamas someday.

Tiffani Dilworth

Tiffani Dilworth, LPC, GCGS, is a successful psychotherapist, author, and sought-after speaker on topics related to grief, PTSD, and sexual assault. Miss Dilworth received her Master's in Community Counseling from Oklahoma State University. She's a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who specializes in PTSD, Grief, and Sexual Trauma.
