Andrew is born and raised in St. John's. He graduated from College of the North Atlantic with a diploma in Business management and Human Resources. He has fifteen years of experience in customer service including over four years in the financial services industry. In 2017 Andrew was recognised nationally in the Insurance Business Canada magazine's "Young Guns" issue.
He has a strong passion for delivering quality service and advice to his clients and works tirelessly to obtain the best products and interest rates. Call him anytime for any sort of mortgage!
Ann Marie joined ECMB in 2013. She has over 20 years' experience in the banking and financing industry and brings a wealth of experience and resources to help you. She is originally from Mitchell's Brook, St. Mary's Bay and has lived in different parts of the North for nine years. She then moved back home to Newfoundland in 2000. She currently resides in St. John's with her husband and two children.

Deanne Whelan began with East Coast Mortgage Brokers in 2012, was the firm's first female associate and has since purchased the ownership of the company. She is an intricate part of East Coast's success as the largest firm in Newfoundland and winner of the top Canadian Brokerage. She brought with her a wealth of knowledge as she was a Senior Manager for two major finance companies for most of her 27- year career. Since beginning with us, she personally has been ranked as a top 20 Canadian mortgage broker (small market) for several years, is ranked as the highest Verico status of Chairman Club, has made the Canadian Brokers Hot List and has been featured as one of Canadian Mortgage Professional's Women of Influence. East Coast Mortgage Brokers team members have always prided themselves on contributing to our communities. Such things as Rotary Club, Ronald McDonald house, Make a Wish Foundation, Single Family Association, Center For Hope and many local sporting teams are just some of the beneficiaries that we value and contribute to on a regular basis.
Deanne has developed a team of assistants under the Team Whelan platform, so she can be accessible and helpful to even more people. By developing a strong team, they together can make the biggest difference to both clients and the industry. Knowledge and choice are powerful, and this power should be available to everyone. Her goal is to pass this on to as many people as possible.
Mortgage financing is not clear cut and not every client's background is the same. Gina was born in St. John's, and now lives in the town of Portugal Cove St. Philip's with her two children and rescue dog Janey.
Gina stared her career in the financial industry 13 years ago, and with lots of hard work and education in the financial industry, she worked her way through the channels to Branch Manager.
With mortgages being her passion, Gina decided to take her experience and focus all her attention in the mortgage industry and joined the incredible team at East Coast Mortgage Brokers.

Joanne has been in the Financial Services Industry for over 20 years and the Tax and Accounting field for over 28 years. While helping her clients with Insurance, Investments, helping them get out of debt and helping them save to buy their first home she saw there was a need to also help people with mortgages and refinances.
Joanne joined East Coast Mortgage Brokers in 2017 and has brought with her a passion for maintaining strong client relationships. She is located in Clarenville but able to help clients Canada Wide.

At 37 years of age, Leslie is now an accomplished career mortgage broker after serving over 15 years in the industry. He is a proud part owner and broker of East Coast Mortgage Brokers, who were recently awarded the 2022 Canadian Mortgage Awards Brokerage of the Year (under 25 employees), along with the Mortgage Awards of Excellence Regional Brokerage of the Year (Atlantic) for both 2021 and 2022!
Leslie was most recently recognized in 2021 by Canadian Mortgage Professional Magazine's ‘Hot List' of movers and shakers in the Canadian mortgage industry, as well as a Rising Star in 2020, as one of the top brokers in the country under 35 by Canadian Mortgage Professional. A perennial top producing broker, Leslie has won numerous awards both nationally and regionally. Best described as an energetic, hardworking and dedicated mortgage professional; Leslie seeks to connect with people and his community. His tireless work ethic and strong family values were instilled while growing up in a rural Newfoundland community of less than 100 people.

When not working, Leslie volunteers with various non-profit and community groups, which include being a member of the Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity Newfoundland and Labrador, and the local chapter of Brokering Wishes, which raises funds to help grant wishes to local children living with life-threatening illnesses, among many other initiatives.
During any free time, Leslie spends his time with his wife Jennifer, his son Lincoln, and dog, Lily in their home in Outer Cove, and either playing hockey or spending time in the great outdoors.
Manpreet moved from India and Newfoundland has become his second home and its people his family.
His passion for the housing market has encouraged him to get extensive knowledge of Avalon Peninsula real estate and specifically the mortgage needs of Newfoundland people.
He is actively involved in community service - distributing food during 2020 Snowmageddon and the Covid-19 pandemic. Now his focus is helping New Canadians to find affordable housing and assist in the home buying process.

Mckayla has a background in business development & management, having served as a small business consultant while pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Memorial University. She is also co-owner and operator of the technical consulting & repair company Cove Computing Co.
Mckayla is an experienced researcher with a passion for educating and providing clients with all the tools they need to succeed. With access to over 30 lenders and countless financial programs, she takes special care to advocate for clients & provide customized solutions.
I am originally from Chance Cove, Trinity Bay moved to Ontario in 2002 and just recently moved back home to be closer to Family. I am now residing in beautiful town of Torbay with my Husband and two cats.
I have 24 years in the service industry and working extremely hard, being dedicated and putting in the long hours to achieve my goal as a General Manager of one of the top Franchise Companies in Canada.
During the Pandemic I decided to change focus and take myself out of my comfort zone and embarked on a new Career as a Mortgage Broker. Together with hard work and devotion to my clients it has given me so much happiness to know that I am helping my clients achieve their personal goals of homeownership.
I love spending my down time with my family, exploring the East Coast Trails, feeding the ducks at Torbay Beach and sitting on the beach watching the waves.

Michelle was born and raised in St. John's, NL. Still living in St. John's with her Spouse and five children (and three dogs)!
Michelle started her career with a Business Administration Diploma and worked in customer service and client management for over 10 years. Then incorporated that experience into the finance field and now has over 10 years' experience in banking/finance as well.
