NKY Speech Therapy was started by Heather Butler in 2010 to fill a need in the Northern Kentucky area. Heather is originally from Erlanger and she is a nationally certified Speech-Language Pathologist with a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA). She is also a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist by the State of Kentucky. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Speech and Hearing Science from the Ohio State University and received her Master of Science Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale FL... Children begin to learn language very early in life. Speaking, listening, reading, writing, and gestures are all forms of language. As children grow their language skills become increasingly complex. At NKY Speech Therapy Services we evaluate children using standardized tests. When indicated, a treatment plan is established including family/child goals.
