Andrea C. Thomas

Dr. Andrea Thomas was raised in Hartsville, South Carolina and graduated from Mayo High School for Math, Science and Technology. She attended Clemson University and graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences- Pre Professional Studies. She continued her education at the Medical University of South Carolina and graduated with high honors in 2013 with a Doctorate in Dental Medicine. Dr. Thomas was awarded the John Meador Sneed Scholarship based on having a "genuine love and concern for others and a talent for practical accomplishment." She then completed a general practice residency at the Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center in Charleston, South Carolina. In 2014, Dr. Thomas joined our practice. She is married to Robert Thomas and they have one child.

Michael R. Miller

Dr. Michael Miller was born and raised in Dillon, South Carolina where he graduated from Dillon High School in 1982. He then attended the University of South Carolina graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and continued his education at the Medical University of South Carolina. In 1990, he graduated from the Medical University with a Doctorate in Dental Medicine. He graduated with honors, being inducted into the National Honors Fraternity - Omicron Kappa Upsilon. He opened a dental practice in 1994 in Florence and continues to practice dentistry with his associate dentists, as well as his wonderful staff. He is married to his wonderful wife Melissa and has four beautiful children. The family are members of First Baptist Church of Florence, where Dr. Miller has served as a deacon in the past. On the civic side, Dr. Miller volunteers for Mercy Medicine, where he sees patients routinely to provide emergency care as well as restorative care for patients in need. Another organization he volunteers for monthly is Cooks for Christ. He was recently given a prestigious award of The Pee Dee Area Civilian of the Year in 2017, given by the Pee Dee Area Veterans Advisory Council. Dr. Miller is proud to participate in helping take care of veterans in need of dental care.

Samuel J. Ta

Dr. Samuel Ta was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to immigrants from China. He received a Bachelor of Science in Biology at Temple University in Philadelphia before next receiving a post-baccalaureate degree in Pre-Health Specialized Sciences from the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Ta then finished his dental training at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. He has given his time to volunteering with Christian Dental Society in going abroad to Jamaica to provide dental care, in addition to organizations closer to home such as Mercy Medicine, Greenville Free Medical Clinic, and Volunteers in Medicine at Hilton Head. The move from a large city such as Philadelphia to Charleston, and then to Florence has been an amazing journey; and a pleasure to have joined such an amazing dental practice. In his spare time, Dr. Ta is a self-proclaimed "geek" who is always keeping up with the latest in technology and gamer culture. Despite being a homebody, he loves to travel and explore all that our great country has to offer.
