She continues to serve as Director of Theatre at Nerinx Hall and in that position has had the privilege of working with many talented students. Maggie has directed over 100 productions in her 30 year tenure. For INSIGHT, she has directed Musical of Musicals, Belle of Amherst, On The Verge, Something's Afoot, Twelfth Night, and The Glass Menagerie. She is this season's director for 1776, a musical play. Maggie is the founder and Artistic Director of Insight Theatre Company now in the sixth season of professional theatre. Maggie is a member of Actors' Equity Association; her acting credits include the following favorites: Mama Rose in Gypsy, Nancy in Oliver, Emilia in Othello, Lady Capulet in Romeo and Juliet, Elizabeth in The Crucible, and her own original one woman show Kate Chopin. She has a special interest in Shakespeare. As recipient of funding from the English Speaking Union (ESU) and the National Endowment of the Humanities (NEH) she had the opportunities to study at The Globe Theatre in London, The Oregon Shakespeare Festival in Ashland Oregon, and Shakespeare & Company in Lenox, Massachusetts. She received her bachelor and masters degrees at Webster University and fondly gives her best regards to her professors and life long mentorWayne Loui and Marita Woodruff, who have greatly influenced her life work.
