IVORY - Key Persons
Brian started his career at an AmLaw 100 law firm where he focused on mergers and acquisitions, private securities transactions, and general corporate advisory services. He has since held multiple roles as in-house counsel, having the opportunity to observe and shape how the internal legal function operates within mature and emerging growth companies. He advised two vibrant technology companies in his role as sole in-house counsel and was a senior member of the legal department within a Fortune 500 company.
From his close working relationships with executive team members, he is well familiar with the differing perspectives among outside counsel, in-house counsel, and key business decision-makers. Brian's breadth of experience has enabled him to provide clients with counsel that is uncompromising in quality while prioritizing efficiency and the elimination of value-diluting excess.
Brian is from Syracuse, New York, and still calls Upstate New York home, residing with his two children in a suburb of Rochester. He graduated early from the Syracuse University College of Law with honors and a JD/MBA dual degree. He is licensed in the State of New York.
Jessica started her career at a boutique firm where she focused on general corporate counsel, contract negotiations, and intellectual property law. She has since counseled varying types of organizations on matters including organizational structure, contractual risk mitigation, intellectual property strategy, technology licensing, digital marketing, and legal process improvement. Jessica is sensitive to the unique needs of each of her corporate clients. As Counsel to Ivory, Jessica's expertise and belief in the firm's mission, vision, and dedication to quality are a perfect fit.
Jessica is from Northeast Ohio and moved to Chicago for graduate school. After obtaining her MBA from Loyola University Chicago, she graduated from what is now the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law early with honors and a certificate in intellectual property law, followed by a master's in intellectual property law. Jessica currently resides in Northwest Chicago with her family. She is licensed in the states of Illinois and Ohio.

Terri started her legal career at a boutique firm where she focused on corporate and business transactions, real estate, franchising, as well as succession planning and estate planning for business owner clients. Through her experience, she has honed her ability to analyze and find solutions for complex and technical issues and to communicate clearly and effectively with clients. Prior to starting her legal career, Terri served in the United States Air Force, where she developed a strong sense of discipline and commitment to excellence. With her extensive experience and multicultural background, Terri brings a unique perspective to her legal practice.
Originally from Ghana, West Africa, Terri immigrated to the US at a young age and now calls Denver, Colorado home. She holds a J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center and a B.A in Criminal Justice from the University of Colorado Denver. Terri currently resides in Houston, Texas, and is licensed in the state of Texas.
